The bible says the one unforgiveable sin is blasphemy of the holy spirit. Okay then, what's that? Well, why are some people cast into the lake of fire at judgment and others given entrance to heaven? Through faith in Jesus Christ alone...Jesus said, unless you be born again, you cannot enter the kingdom of heaven. Any other "sin" is forgiven by faith in Jesus Christ.

Therefore, blasphemy of the holy spirit is the absolute rejection of God's calling a person to repentance and belief in His son.

The unforgiveable sin is the Blasphemy of the Holy Spirit. In the context Jesus was healing and was accused of healing through the power of Satan.

We know that the Scriptures teach us that the Holy Spirit is the 3rd person of the Trinity- has feelings, can be hurt (quenched). The only unforgiveable sin - is denying the Holy Spirit- or in short- rejecting Jesus' offer of salvation. That is the only sin God will not forgive, because we have said God my will, and not yours. And so God sends those who have made such a choice to hell not to punish them but that's the choice they've made- i want nothing to do with God.

My former pastor told me that if it's a sin your worried about you probably haven't committed the Blasphemy of the Holy Spirit. Just the fact of concern means you have a degree of reverence and concern for God.

Hope that helps...

Blasphemy against the Holy Spirit is a sin that Jesus has said will not be forgiven. In essence, blaspehmy amounts to treating something lightly because we do not understand or believe the meaning for which it stands for. Unbelief in the words of God can make us take many things lightly or express our inability to accept holy things as holy.
In John 1:18 it is recorded 'Zechariah asked the angel, " How can I be sure of this? I am an old man and my wife is well along in years."
To which Gabriel replies in vs 19 "I am Gabriel. I stand in the presence of God, and I have been sent to speak to you and to tell you this good news. 20 And now you will be silent and not able to speak until the day this happens, because you did not believe my words, which will come true at their proper time"'
Now, when we blaspheme against the Holy Spirit, we are disbelieving God himself. So how can God forgive a person who cannot believe in him and treats things that should not be treated lightly, lightly???

Matthew Chapter 12:

[31] Wherefore I say unto you, All manner of sin and blasphemy shall be forgiven unto men: but the blasphemy against the Holy Ghost shall not be forgiven unto men.
[32] And whosoever speaketh a word against the Son of man, it shall be forgiven him: but whosoever speaketh against the Holy Ghost, it shall not be forgiven him, neither in this world, neither in the world to come.

I am still undecided about suicide and it really doesn't matter what I think because that matter is in God's hands.

However, since God knows the state of every persons mind and how much mental or emotional torture they are subjected to it is up to Him to decide the fate of those who commit suicide. After all they can't ask forgiveness, their life has ended. But God knows the extent of the circumstances behind all that has happened in their life. Best leave that to be decided by the One who knows everything.

of direction partaking in gay acts is forgivable. although you describe a difficulty that's somewhat taking part in video games with God. you're soliciting for the suitable suited to stay in sin with out repentance and merely confess it away. God on no account promised to forgive that sin. Forgiveness comes as quickly as we renowned that we stay in sin and comprehend our would desire to alter. It incorporates a dedication to quit doing the habit that brought about us to sin and stay in a Christian way. Pastor John

I could waste time answering that but in 50 years when the church decides to change the rules of its religion it'll be different anyway. you know in the 60's and 70's some baptist christian churches said it as a sin for women to wear pants. Isn't that funny how it's no longer an issue but nobody question why congregations (who are only supposed to spread the word of "god") are allowed to make up their own rules.

rejecting his Son, Jesus Christ as Savior...if you are not saved by judgement day by Jesus, God cannot forgive your sin because we had our whole lives to make that decision and if we didn't, we already rejected Him. He can however forgive ANY sin we commit during our life time (before judgement day)
