They pre-test you, then assess your score. Next tell you what you need work on.

In NY, you come in when you can, but you must attend so many days a week. Sometimes you will be alone, or they may be otheres there, but it's not a classroom environment. It's kind of like a lab.
Once you'rev improved your weak points, then they give you the test. For most people it only takes a couple months to complete it..

Pretty much, but it is probably a good idea to attend some prep classes because the test is harder than you might think. However if you are planning to go to college, some colleges offer GED eqivalency after completing 24 or more credits, good option if that is your plans.

yes, pretty much. most places will require you to go through a mini "school" of sorts in order to prepare for the test, however you can, if you want, simply show up at the testing faciltiy and take it to get your GED.

Stay in school, please. I have heard it it much hader to get your GED than to go to school and just graduate.

I think its just a test,but generally you can practice for at at your county workforce office.

yes all you have to do is take the test and pass of course.


one of my soldiers just did this about a month ago.
