Is Ok to charge them rent. If so how much is reasonable?

Split the bills like everyone says. Unless the two of you have other arrangements.

And you ask questions as often as you like until you feel you have the information needed to be comfortable with your decision. The people on here don't have to answer these questions and you don't have to justify asking more than once.

Of course it is ok to charge them rent. You each should pay half. Dont forget about food and utilities.

If this is ur significant other than an agreement should be made on all the bills. Thye can't live anywhere for free so to answer ur question make them pay just as much split it in half just to be fair. if they refuse then make them go where they would like to pay.

Yes if the have and job..... half everything if they dont make as much as you try to figer out how much they can pay. me i didnt make as much so pay the water bill and put food in the house i would also do all the yard work. and stuff and around the house to help out lil more than what someone would nomely do.

you can tell them to go half with you, or let them be responsible for something else, like the utilities, or the food etc. but it is ok to because you dont want someone living off of you for free

Me and my boyfriend split the bills. I think thats a fair way of doing it.

Yes, if they are living with you you guys should split the bills evenly. It's only fair.

Did you ask this already?.... I answered a question like this 2 minutes ago .... go 50/50 with the rent.. and any othr utilities that you have .. .like cable... phone... .electric bill...
