it is an experience that changes ones outlook. can be for a variety of things like life, people, the way the world works etc. nothing to do with any sort of religious stuff but something that is truly life altering. some people who claim near death experiences view this as a spiritual experience. giving birth to your first child, death of a family member etc. something that complete turns your thinking around 180 degrees

there are lots of ways in which a person can have a spiritual experience. Recently we have decided to move, and that's a decision we felt needed to be taken to Heavenly Father, to be sure that's what he would have us do. We started looking at places and found a home that we were interested in. Well we called that area and talked to a bishop from our church and he said that they had been praying for some families to move into the area. There are not alot of members there and a big family was moving from their ward, anyway... that night I called and was talking with my husband and he said that he had recieved confirmation from our prayers that yes we should move and then I said well that's good because they need us where we are moving. Then as we were drinving to the state in which we were going to move to check out the home that we found we were listening to some church tapes and there was a part that really touched me, well I was sitting there wondering if my husband could feel what I was feeling and being touched in the same way he reached over and started rubbing my hand and I asked if he had been touched by what was said and he said yes. We feel very good about what we are doing, it doesn't mean that there won't be challenges but we do know that we are suppose to move. Alot of times spiritual feeling will be just that, a quiet calm about something and a good feeling granted you have to be open to those things and think that they are possible. It's my opinion that it's a gift from a Loving Heavenly Father to let us know that He is really there watching over us and does hear and answer prayers. I have had many and hope to have many more in this life.

A spiritual experience is having your vehicle blown up by and IED (roadside bomb) and you knock out as soon as the impact slams you against the side of the HM998 (Humvee). Then you have real life like dream where you are at a a funeral and your in the back of the room. Then as you start to walk towards the casket and you're about to see your own face, a hand squeezes your shoulder and pulls you back and a voice says "Why are you here"? You cant be here right now, you need to return with a kind heart for a better life" then you're trying to turn around your neck becomes stiff and you cant move.... then your eyes start burning and as soon as you blink, you're laying on the side of the road while your fellow soldiers are wiping the blood off your face and eyes because your forehead was cut open from slamming in the vehicle. So the burning was actually dirt, blood, and debris from the explosion..... Then you get MedEvac'ed (medical evacuation) to the nearest hospital in Kuwait. ------

Anything can be a spiritual experience. I believe it can happen anytime, for any reason. I think a spiritual experience is when you come to a realization, profound thought or understanding. Maybe it was a random occurance during the day, or maybe something happened, or maybe you had a huge trauma. Like a car crash. I also feel that a spiritual experience doesn't nessecarily have to be Christian related. Anything that moves your soul.

A spiritual experience can be a reaction, (a profound discover, insight, or book). It can be an emotional moment such as sexual between husband and wife (man & woman). A spiritual experience comes in defference ways to people. You should ask a question about people's spiritual experiences, which is a good question.

A spiritual experience is an event which causes you to suddenly realize your relationship with God.
However, a spiritual awakening can be a slow realization based on willingness and action.
The latter is often more profound and long-lasting, while I know some people who are always trying to recreate their "white light" experience like remembering the big game in high school.

An experience that demonstrates to you personally, your connection with the world and universe around you. Out of that experience you gain a clear vision of the role your life is to play in making the world better in some way before you leave it. People who can hold onto that spiritual experience, have more clarity on the decisions they make in life, because either the decision supports their life's meaning...or it doesn't.

When you have lived something that can not be explained in human language or on human terms. For instance you were in the World Trade center the day of the bombing. At 630am a little voice said get out. You left. This would be a spiritufal experience.

Spiritual experience...you unexpectedly have the opportunity to do a good deed anonymously and a feeling of warmth surges through you afterward. It's a spiritual "good job!"
