You will know a guy likes you when he shows affection towards you. When he starts seeing you more often and caring for you and what you do and always just wants to be with you. I think it will already be obvious you will feel it, it is this feeling you get. When you both start getting butterflies in your stomach, you already know your in love....

just a little gesture to pat ur back or ur hair...
avoids looking into your eyes directly....
sticks with you the whole day and is right there, the next day too...
all these depends upon if he really likes and wants you to know abt it...
if he doesnt want you to know abt it, you would never know...

hangs around alot ,flirts ,calls,buys,has stupid looking grin on face, goofy easily excited,hits on you pinches you alot, cant get him to go home,whehw.i'll think of some more later!
