Our Spirit is the breath of life that God has given to us all, and when we die our spirit goes back to the Father. And on the day of resurrection, hopefully we will get it back. So Spirit=Breath

No. YHWH formed Adam of the dust of the earth. After YHWH breathed into Adam the spirit of life, Adam BECAME a living being (soul). No unique spirit was formed for Adam. No soul was formed. Adam, the dust of the earth, BECAME a living soul.
