CCIS they pay for your childs care by your income, you might have to pay $5.00 a week or something..check with the assistance programs in your area!!!!!

Here is a suggestion that worked for my sister. She quit her full-time job and worked from home watching other children. That way, she made money and got to stay home with her daughter AND she did not have to pay expensive child-care costs. She saved in other ways, too - no lunches out, no gas money, no work wardrobe, etc.

I would seriously consider this, not just for the money-saving possibilities but for the simple reason that you will regret years later all this time you missed with your child. While other people can be good caregivers, no one can replace "mommy."

PLEASE don't look to government programs for help and use up other tax-paying family's money. Instead, you can take charge of this situation and make changes that will better your situation.

Best of luck to you and good luck with your schooling.

I can't believe you not on state assistance. I have three kids in day care, and make only $300 a week, daycare costs $600. The state covers 100% of it. Any state you live in has this program, I suggest you call immediately. It's at the same place you would get food stamps at.

How are you paying for college? Have you checked out any student/financial aid? If you qualify, your tuition will be paid directly to the school, and they'll send you the leftover money for books and living expenses.

Apply for scholarships. There are tons out there and if they send you money you can use it to pay for school and use the left over money to pay for child care.

is your child at a daycare facility? try offering to wash linens or offer some type of service in exchange for decreased rates. the daycare i used to work didnt offer that but accomodated those types of requests.

Try your local churches. They will sometimes work with you to help pay daycare fees.
