I have answered many questions from people who are "living with their goyfriend or girlfriend"; questions about "cheating", "pregnancy", and dissention in their "homes." They asked questions and put them on this board to receive answers that would describe what may be the problems. When Christians point out to them that they will not have joy in their homes until they turn away from the fornication, the "unpaid prostitution" and "whoredom" that God tells us is SIN. But you can turn away from that SIN and receive forgiveness. We've all sinned! But Society is seducing those who live in a sinful relationship that it's "normal", it's "natural". Rationalizations will not make living with your boyfriend or girlfriend any less a SIN that you need to STOP doing and be forgiven! I am a saved sinner, I have to be forgiven every day. I wanted you to know how you could also be forgiven so that you COULD have joy in your homes and you children can be raised by honorable parents.

Do you believe that if we have the opportunity but choose not to take that opportunity, to give the Good News of Salvation and tell people how they can be saved, that we could be judged for the sins of those who could be lost by our sin of omission?

Keep your eye on the prize! We are all sinners and need the Lord Jesus Christ in our lives. Salvation is also called "victory" in the Holy Bible. Help one another.
Jesus Christ is the "I AM" or God Himself in a visible body.
"For in him dwelleth all the fullness of the Godhead bodily."
-- Colossians 2:9
"Have I been so long time with you, and yet hast thou not known me, Philip? he that hath seen me hath seen the Father; and how sayest thou then, Shew us the Father?"
-- John 14:9
"Jesus said unto them, Verily, verily, I say unto you Before Abraham was, I AM."
-- John 8:58

You make a valid point.
Their bad times are consequences of sin.
Just take premarital sex for example since you made note of it.
The consequences of this sin range from STD's to unwanted pregnancy.
If people would wait until marriage they would not have to worry about these things.
The STD'S can carry serious health problems and possibly a death sentence.
The unwanted pregnancy preludes to the whole abortion issue which is a whole nother topic in it's own. Also, child support and a strain on the child for not having both parents loving each other, in some cases.
I guess what I get from your post is that people want answers to their problems but if it's something they don't want to hear, they ignore it and persecute you for trying to "preach."
People need to realize that sin has consequences. Severe ones at that. The Bible taught against sin for a reason.
That reason is for us to live a happy fruitful life. God wants us to be happy. Sin only brings trouble to yourself and those around you.
Edit:
In response to your additional detail....
I think if that person has already been told that what they are doing is a sin, then they have been told and it is not the fault of you or I by not telling them again. Yes, we should spread the Word, but I don't think we will be held accountable for not telling every single person.
Once a person has been exposed to the truth, it is up to them to believe it or not. It only takes one time.
DuckPhup,
I usually don't do this, but are your statistics saying that all Jews marry Jews, all Christians marry Christians....etc...?
If so, then these stats are flawed. I know Christians who have married Atheists, so when they divorce, who is to blame. The Christian or the Atheist?

You have the right to say whatever you want. Period. The First Amendment guarantees your right to call people sinners, whores, prostitutes, and whatever other dirty names come to mind, as long as your actions don't physically threaten anyone or constitute legal harrassment. There is no law that says you have to be friendly. The only point at which your rights run out is when you physically attempt to impose your viewpoint on others.
Of course, the same amendment guarantees that the people you harangue have the right to call you all sorts of nasty things in return.
For the record, my girlfriend and I have been living together for six years. Neither of us has cheated on the other, she has never been pregnant, and we're very happy together. I could list any number of my married friends who have suffered through cheating, unwanted pregnancy, and "dissention", but we've apparantly been able to escape the GodHammer⢠thus far.

Hmmm... can you explain this, then?
Variation in divorce rates by religion:
Religion% have been divorced
Jews30%
Born-again Christians27%
Other Christians24%
Atheists, Agnostics21%
Ron Barrier, Spokesperson for American Atheists remarked on these findings with some rather caustic comments against organized religion. He said: "These findings confirm what I have been saying these last five years. Since Atheist ethics are of a higher caliber than religious morals, it stands to reason that our families would be dedicated more to each other than to some invisible monitor in the sky. With Atheism, women and men are equally responsible for a healthy marriage. There is no room in Atheist ethics for the type of 'submissive' nonsense preached by Baptists and other Christian and/or Jewish groups. Atheists reject, and rightly so, the primitive patriarchal attitudes so prevalent in many religions with respect to marriage.

Ever hear the phrase, "You can dish it out, but you can't take it"? Christian fundamentalists have been on the attack for years now, trying to deny rights to homosexuals, trying to outlaw abortions, trying to keep women from obtaining equal rights, and trying to impose their own morals - many of them non-biblical - on the rest of society. Non-Fundamentalists are finally fighting back by speaking out against their campaigns, their media onslaughts, and their mistaken notions of truth, and the Fundamentalists don't like it very much. They can dish it out, but they can't take it. So when people of good conscience stand up for their rights, Fundamentalists cry foul - they claim they are being persecuted.
You are being judgemental of others. Doesn't your belief tell you that you should not judge others? Why are you doing so then?

Do you mean sins like judging other people, or preaching bigotry, hatred, discrimination and therefore violence against GLBT people?
I'm amazed you have the gall to call yourself a 'christian' when your thoughts, words and actions show you to be completely opposite. WWJD?
Why not try justice, tolerance, understand and love for a change?

"Christians point out to them that they will not have joy in their homes until they turn away from the fornication"
So you're telling me joy is directly related to not having sex?
Have you actually had sex?

That's cool, can you hook me up with a personal phone line to God, too? Then I can tell everyone else what is best for them, too.
