I have dental implants, the kind that my teeth are attached to with screws. I also have a good friend who is a Prosthontist who told me of a study she did that is less expensive than the kind I have. The study showed that those that got 4 implants that the implants acts like the roots of our teeth greatly reducing the deterioration of the bone in the jaw. Plus the denture can be modified to snap onto the implants. These are more stable than dentures that just sit on the gums. It helps with eating, speaking and comfort. Most dental insurance does not cover implants but with needing less implants than I have the cost would be less.

Skeeter's right, but it is not likely that you will get too much help from dental insurance. Most do not cover implant services, although they might help with the denture when the implants are in place.
