We live in Washington where the age of consent is 18. Does the fact that they didn't have sex get him in way less trouble?

If it was consensual, the best you're going to get is a Corrupting the Morals of a Minor charge. It's jail time and a record. *shrugs*

According to the website listed below the age of consent is 16 in your state. It also looks as though it doesn't matter the about the age difference. If you were in another state the bas$$%% would get something for sexual contact with a minor, but your state doesn't do that. I would definately get your cousin away from that man.

I agree with Chirsty.she did do it willingly and it is just as much her fault as it is his.So there's really nothing that will happen. cause even though he is older.she could have said no or i'm not old engough to be with you.so there for both will get into just as much trouble.good luck
