I always have to eat things in fours? Is this wierd?

Everyime i eat candy or chips or something like that i have to eat them in quantities of four, like i can eat 4,8,12,or 16 of them. I also do this when i put ice in my drinks. Is this wierd? and is there a proper "name" for it?

Yeah it's OCD. When I was younger everytime I walked up a flight of stairs I had to count the steps as I was going. It drove me crazy but I just couldn't stop. Sometimes I still do it.

BTW you eat FOUR candy bars at one time? !!!!

This is called OCD - obsessive compulsive disorder. You can take prescribed drugs for this, but eating things in 4's isn't a horrible habit as long as you don't take like 4 pills (of any kind) or eat 4 steaks lol

I guess you are just meticulous and very conscious of what you do. I don't know what you call it but it sounds a little stange to me. I can't remember to count and group anything like that unless its a planned activity. If it bothers you, try just grabbing a handful without counting. Keep your brain occupied with something else other than the number of the items. If it doesn't bother you, don't sweat it.

It's called Obsessive Compulsive Disorder, or OCD. In your case I'd say it's nothing to worry about, it's when you have to wash your hands a million times.
