I like all those people in that article who are whining that illegal aliens are having to "endure" the same kinds of treatment that other criminals who are actual citizens have to endure every day in a place called "jail". Please. Oh the shock value! "CONCENTRATION CAMPS" in bold. That made me picture horrible Nazi camps, where everyone is starved, beaten, and dying. On their ways to the gas chamber. Instead I start reading and realize they are complaining about.....jail.

I think the idea could go good or bad. It really depends on who's running it and whether they are doing that right. All one person has to do is slip in the shower and it will be on the international news as a crime against humanity. There are tons of illegal aliens. And they have to be placed somewhere while they await deportation (oh yeah, I forgot. Some of you don't believe in deporting anyone who happens to be from Mexico). /rolls eyes

I have to say though, it's in Utah, and those Mormons creep me out. Also, when you toss in the word "CONCENTRATION CAMP" and the fact that Mormons (have you noticed how many of them are blue eyed blondes?) think Native Americans (including Mexican natives) are actually Jews that were cursed by "God" with the "skin of blackness" for being wicked, then the idea just seems wrong.

They have to stay somewhere. The funny thing about releasing them until time of deportation is that they don't show up to be deported. That is a huge problem. As a result, I understand there are 500,000 warrants out for deportations of people who should already be gone.

They need to be ok camps, obviously, but I don't see why they have to be the Hilton. It is a crime, after all, to come illegally.

I understand that in some places they are designing special facilities to try to keep the families together where children are involved.

I take it these are not the family facilities. I understand those are army bases being renovated, and the deportees will be in spaces the army lived in. Presumably the families get the officers quarters.

it is a shame that Americans have to use such means to deter illegal immigration.
I personnaly have no issues with immigration but if some one breaks the law then have to understand that in American society there is a penalty....for the criminals i have no sympathy, i think that ideas like this and the camps that Arizona sherrif Joe Arpaio has been using on Americans for years are a great deterrent to crime.
Unfortuntely i am sure that there are a few immigrants who do not deserve to be treated like criminals, but they are the ones who should be standing up against the bad apples from thier own countries, maybe if some of them stayed in thier countries and work to create a better society rather than spending thier time trying to fight American laws they would find that they too could have what we have here.......

btw here is a link about the Arizona "tent cities" i refered to
