Whatever name you choose, make sure the ending consonant ends with the -ee sound. Like Lady for example. Humans naturally pronounce words ending with -ee in a more upbeat tone. It will make your puppy more comfortable and happy with it's name. Names like Bruno that end in -no can confuse your puppy with the "NO!!!" as a scolding term. Also, make sure it is a name you are comfortable saying in public! Good Luck!

I had a Boarder Collie cross and called him Frodo Baggins (check out my name!), he had his eighteenth birthday and then he really had to be put to sleep - will never forget him. We had him put to sleep in the November when the first part of the Lord of the Rings came out for the Christmas in the same year.
Still, doesn't answer you question, does it? A friend of mine had a King Charles at a similar time and liked the name that I had chosen, so called him Bilbo.
Still doesn't answer your question!
We have a Wood Green Rescue Jack Russell and her name is Poppy - good name, but if you take her out you have a half dozen people calling the same name - as you would with a lot of the names suggested by previous respondents.
We were talking to a couple with a Jack Russell recently and they have called their puppy 'Solo.' Why? Because she is so low to the ground! If you have a small spaniel - that would really be my choice.

Look on her pedigree papers to see what the trend in names is. Often the breeder has a theme and you could follow that. For example the names of the parent and grand parent on the female side could be ancient history names (like Juno, Minerva, Cleopatra, Sheba) and you could follow that theme, or names of flowers (Lily, Rose, Daisy), or trees (Aspen, Willow, Larch). Congratulations on picking a Spaniel, I owned Blue Roan Spaniels for years and they are lovely dogs.

My miniature poodle is called Kizzy Boo. Just find a couple of names you like and see how they look & sound together, that way you can be pretty sure your pup will be truly individual.
