Yes. Sure it does not taste fresh but hey if your freezing it then you can't go through it all that fast. If you need some fresh jut go pick up a little carton as you need it. Othe rthen that freezing it it a great way to save your milk from going bad for what ever reason. But they take forever to defrost lol.

ew it never tastes right later if you do that. I've had milk freeze in the fridge from when a roommate set the fridge too cold, and it tasted so rancid after thawing. (It thawed in the fridge) If you need milk to be non-perishable, buy powdered milk. It's not too bad tasting and I used it all the time for cooking with milk rather than buying fresh milk because it was cheaper and doesn't spoil.

Yes you can, but in my experience it never tastes quite as good after it's been frozen and thawed out. It's t do with ice crystals forming in the water in the milk and causing separation from the fat. It tastes slightly different afterwards.... more synthetic, almost.

It will still go bad after you defrost if past due date but yes. And if whole milk it will separate and be water at top and richer at bottom.

Yes but it won't taste the same. If you use it for cooking it's probably fine, but I wouldn't drink it.

Absolutely. The lower fat content, the better it thaws out. Homogenized wouldn't do as well as skim.
