Absolutely not! Out of my pregnancies, only the 1st and this last one I had horrible morning sickness. All the rest, I ate and ate and ate and ate...

Well, so far I have 5 beautiful, highly advanced children who are in gifted curriculum.

It's the parent that makes the child, that makes them become the adult. Don't ever forget that. And pregnancy is only preparing the child for the world to come.

It's people who've had problems in their pregnancy that they will have a problem raising the child. Such as women who become pregnant with Downs babies, because they waited too long to start a family. Or alcoholic/drug addict moms. HIV infected moms. Other chromosomal defects. Morning sickness has nothing to do with it!

No, No. Just consider yourself lucky. The morning sickness is caused by fluctuating hormonal levels. If this is not your first pregnancy, the chances of your body being able to cope better with the pregnancy are increased so that's why you're not getting sick.

And raising children is hard morning sickness or not!

Enjoy your pregnancy, it's a beautiful time!

It's a wives tale.. calm down and chill out.

I've had 2 babies. The first caused me IMMENSE morning sickness.. I didn't eat anything for 4 months.. threw up at the drop of a hat, couldn't smell or look at anything that resembled food.. it was horrible. He's 4 and he's a hellion..

The second.. was perfect.. not a tiny bit of morning sickness, nausea.. anything.. perfect.. He's 2.. and he's a hellion..

Doesn't make a difference if you have morning sickess or not. It's the way you raise your kids.. and the personallities that they have.

That's just a saying. With my two boys I never got sick, not once. When I got pregnant with my girl, I was sick and throwing up every morning for the first three months. It depends on hormones and if it's a boy or girl, I think. You should just consider yourself lucky that you don't get sick.
With my girl, I threw up everywhere. In the car 3-4 times, in the parking lot, in bed, you name it, it came up everywhere.

That is not true. I had zero issues when I was pregnant and now I have a well mannered little girl. It starts with discipline in the home. You'll be fine. Be consistent with the discipline and start early to get control before you loose control. Good luck!

i had a pretty easy pregnancy too, and i have a perfect angel of a baby who is now 11 months old. she goes to daycare and every day they comment on what a good baby she is and how they wish the other kids could be like her. so no, that myth is not true. consider yourself lucky.

I really don't think this is true - your child doesn't make you sick on purpose/give you morning sickness on purpose. My friend had no morning sickness and she has a short labor and is not having problems raising her daughter.....

That's ridiculous. Sounds like one of those myths to me. Twenty percent of women don't experience morning sickness because everyone's body handles pregnancy differently. Whoever told you that seems to be trying to scare you. Don't listen.
