If the pope is an idol, it means some worship him, or he would not be an idol, right?

Only God is deserving of worship.

The Pope is the successor of the Apostle Peter, the first Pope, but is not God and not in any way divine.

The worship of any person, living or dead, is against the teaching of the Catholic Church.

With love in Christ.

The Pope is an idol in the eyes of Catholics. he should be executed for heresy for kissing satan's book. This is an example why the catholic church is corrupt.
