This is an answer to many questions in this forum, what i wanna know is who's gonna fund this project. Ok so it will cost 65 million to build, and will hold 2000 illegals waiting for deprtation. Well let's see while they wait they will have to be fed, water and electrical billing, hygene facilities will be needed, and not to mention there is about 20 million illegals in the country, so to hold 2000 at a time, this will be a slow process. So if they can only hold 2000 and they gotta wait to get deproted, the deprotation will need funding, and if you can only hold 2000 at a time, to reach 20 million you'll have many years to go. All the while all this will need funding, wonder where will it come from, guess we should expect a tax increase. What I also like is how she said, goodbye mexico, so you wanna target not only illegals but mexicans too. You wanna send me to mexico, why, i've served the country, i'm an american with mexican heritage, well guess it goes beyond illegal issues.

Did U hear? In Centerville, UT, they are building a $65 million facility to be completed in September?
It will consist of 10 dome-like structures made of steel frames covered with a nylon-based materal. Each dome will house 200 beds for a total of 2,000 beds to hold illegals for deportation.
The government is working to end the "catch and release" policy that has recently resulted in the deportation of thousands of illegals.
This contract was secured by a local company who received it from ICE less than a month ago. They began contstruction the end of June...
While the facility may look like tents, they are very secure. Two fences of razor wire protect the project, ....the illegals will be held there, processed and deported with an estimated holding time of 2-4 weeks.
ISN'T THIS GREAT.... the plan is to build these holding camps all over the nation....
Now, let the deportation begin!

Guess as much as illegals are costing the US right now, they will cost even more with this program in effect.

remmo16, you seem ignorant yourself. When have i ever said not to enforce our laws. This project is not a "law", it is seen as a possible solution that in my eyes is not a good thing. It will cost way too much, so we will have to pay out of our pockets. Not only that, but it would be cheaper and probably more effective to just enforce the laws we already have.

Let's see it this way. Deportation will need buses and planes to get each illegal to it's country. so we need to spend on buses and planes. Fuel for the buses and planes. Food for them while at the shelter(concentration camp). Utilities to power the shelter. Officers to keep a watch on them. Cleaning crew, to clean the shelter and wash the blankets and pillows. So we it holds 2000 people, but there are 20 million here now, well it's gonna be a very slow and lengthy process, costing us much more than just enforcing the laws we already have. Or give them amnesty and then they can properly contribute to the economy.

The Illegals are costing us 68 billion a year. We can build 1046 of these facilities in the first year alone. That's processing for 2 million. Now they won't be there for the whole year, and we will be rotating the populations so that 2 million people served numbers will grow. Once the problem is under control those facilities can be turned into community sports centers and facilities such as that, that would have had a difficult time getting funding for. Thanks!

Better thing would be try and legalise their status and give them a guest worker status this way no one will be illegal and the govt would earn back taxes that is lost due to employment of illegal immigrants. Hence amny companies would not be able to exploit them or get their work done without paying proper salary, taxes or medical insurance.
For the rest US can start by having stricter laws.
Also America is a land of oppurtunities and everyone wants to come here and realise their dreams the Europeans came in early 1900's many are trying their luck now!

A problem you can't seem to see
Some of the most violent criminals at large today are illegal aliens. Yet in cities where the crime these aliens commit is highest, the police cannot use the most obvious tool to apprehend them: their immigration status. In Los Angeles, for example, dozens of members of a ruthless Salvadoran prison gang have sneaked back into town after having been deported for such crimes as murder, assault with a deadly weapon, and drug trafficking.

The answer to your question is the tax payers. I will be paying for this too. It's okay, my people need a place to rest, shower and be ready to try again. That is what's going to happen, as many times you catch them, they will keep trying over and over again. By the time they 'catch' 20 million, another 100 million will be here, so it will be an never ending cycle.

i dont know where you get your numbers,, probably the same place you got the kenniwick man info,, there are not 20 million illegals,, geeez,, more like 2.5.. and most come from mexico,, it cost more to keep them here,,dont forget they have babies and then get welfare and dont pay for medical,, we need to find the ones we can before a certain date and send them back the others we give amnesty and then shut the border down,, period,, from a retired marine who liked the navy because they always gave us a ride to the fight then they left

And they would cost orders of magnitude more if allowed to stay.... Anyways, we don't need to deport them. Enforce fine and/or jail time to employers hiring them, and the situation will resolve itself. Problem solved. I need to be in a position of power.....
How did I know you were in favor of amnesty? Anyways, or we could like I said, and they will go home on their own. Simple really.

So your argument is that we should not enforce our laws because it is too expensive? That is one of the most absurd things I have ever heard. We're a nation of laws and if they're not enforced our freedom and prosperity are doomed.
There is no justification for ignoring criminal activity.

taxpayers of course, we work soooooooooo hard for our money and the feds just waste it away, we should just shoot at the illegals trying to cross our border, that will stop the illegal crossings right away, i mean we have a right to defend our borders, don't get me wrong i'm not against immigration, just go through the proper immigration procedure to get here

It needn't be as costly as you think... quite apart from whether you agree with it or not, there are several "facilities" that can be used very quickly by Executive order ....
