Hi Iztekan,

There is both Old Testament and New Testament proof that homosexuality is definitely not approved by God. Romans Chapter 1 is a good chapter that talks about how man chose to worship the creature instead of the creator and so God left them over to the depravity of their own minds and they began to do whatever pleased themselves and one of those things include men with men, woman with woman and it says they gave themselves over to their unnatural uses... etc.

In other words- people chose not to acknowledge God and His ways and chose to follow their own hearts and this is one of the things that have come about with man doing whatever man thinks is right. God is the one who designed us and if you look at the parts anatomically first of all- homosexuality doesn't fit. Part of God's blessing too is creating and men with men and women with women also does not create. It does not mean that this is the only purpose of sex- God created sex - meant to be enjoyed in the context of a marriage between a man and a woman.

In Romans 1 we kind of see the essence of sin- man choosing his way over God's way. So it is not being gay that sends someone to Hell, it is a refusal to accept God's way and insist on following one's own way. In that sense everyone has sinned and need Jesus' forgiveness. That's really important because many in the homosexual community get a sense that God hates them. God hates sin, not people, he died on a cross for people to have the opportunity for forgiveness.

God doesn't just tell us things to prohibit us but for our good. The homosexual community has a much higher rate of promiscuity and statistically few relationships last for a lifetime (which is what so many people are searching for isn't it? A love that lasts forever.)

i hope this helps i'm trying to just share based on what i've learned from the Bible and also from some of my homosexual friends (i'm a pastor by the way). i believe God has asked us to love people but to also tell the truth to them. There is a ministry of Christians who used to be homosexual and they shared with my church a lot of the damaging things that homosexuals have gone through and i think they could be helpful as well, checkout livingstones.com

in Christ's kindness,

well, you're never gonna get the answer, because it's not in the Bible. But it's common sense. Stand naked with your "other half" in front of a mirror, and you ask yourself: does it fit?
God does not condone homosexuals. You cannot be a oorn-again Christian, walking by the Spirit, led by the Spirit, and calling yourself "Christ-like," (Christian), and be a homosexual. It's not the order of God. Think about it. In Genesis, it talks about the cities of Sodom and Gomorrah, and how all that wordly mess was going on (gays, and lesbians, and premarital sex, and violence, etc.); all that stuff that we still do today, was going on back then. But God, was like, no, I'm not tolerating this mess that's going on, so He destroyed the land completely. If you are gay and don't have any desire to change or be delivered from it, the chances are slim and none that you will find yourself in the Kingdom of God.

I don't care about the "points" thing, but you can find a very clear understanding by reading 1 Corinthians 6: 9-10.

Other sins included in the same category are adulterers

It doesn't say that they will not go to heaven, it says that they will "not inherit God's Kingdom", that applies to both heaven and earth (Matthew 6:9,10) All who die that are good don't necessarily all go to heaven anyways. (Psalms 37:9-11, 29). But that's another Bible discussion. :)

See here 1 Corinthians 6:9 & 10 says
"What! Do you not know that unrighteous persons will not inherit God’s kingdom? Do not be misled. Neither fornicators, nor idolaters, nor adulterers, nor men kept for unnatural purposes, nor men who lie with men, nor thieves, nor greedy persons, nor drunkards, nor revilers, nor extortioners will inherit God’s kingdom."

Yet there's hope.
Verse 11 of that same chapter says
" And yet that is what some of you were. But you have been washed clean, but you have been sanctified, but you have been declared righteous in the name of our Lord Jesus Christ and with the spirit of our God. "

Of course that's your choice. :-)

Gays and everyone that dies in the flesh go to Heaven. There is were we are going to be Judge for our sins. God is the Judge and were ever God is at there is Heaven.
We all go to Heaven:
2Cr 5:8 "We are confident, [I say], and willing rather to be absent from the body, is to be present with the Lord."

Who cares what the Bible says about being gay...It makes no specific reference to it even being sinful let alone condemning gays to HELL. The bottom line is its a contradiction to say that religion is built upon love than constricting tha love to only heterosexual relationships. If homosexuality is sinful than loving another is sinful. LOVE knows no resrtictions or boundaries...it just is. PEACE!

To God, sin is sin,,, "A Liar is as guilty as a murderer." All are choices and Jesus is the only way to cover sin no matter what the sin is.

How's that?

As far as looking up the scripture goes... Do your own leg work!

Do you not know that the wicked will not inherit the kingdom of God? Do not be deceived: Neither the sexually immoral nor idolaters nor adulterers nor male prostitutes nor homosexual offenders nor thieves nor the greedy nor drunkards nor slanderers nor swindlers will inherit the kingdom of God.

God only hates gay men. He never mentions lesbians. In fact, another Christian site I read from states that threesomes are okay, as long as they are not two men and one woman...two women and one guy is cool with God. And woman on woman is cool with God too....

See, God was a homophobe...... What it really was was that God has a little dick - he was too embarrassed to whip it out in front of other dudes...so he made laws against it....
