The constant change in food may cause the vomiting. Hairballs can cause this. Does the cat have grass to eat? It may have a stomach problem that needs medical attention. It could be as simple as nerves. Is the cat nervous or has it been resently relocated or has there been a change in the household residents or some conflict? These will all cause cats to have digestive problems. Also be sure the cat hasn't gotten into any carosives or antifreeze or cleaning chemicals. They will lick to get them off their feet and fur. If this has happened then kitty needs a doctor and fast!
Good Luck

It can be a blocked hairball or a virus. It is hard to say because ppl use "throw up" to discribe both problems.Try a hairball med (go by the instructions)for a few days unless he is looking and acting differently and if he is take him to the vet.If he is a long haired cat this will happen a lot during the shedding months. Brush him very well and make sure to get down to the undercoat for all of the loose hair you can get. It will hlep a lot so he doesn't swallow so much hair. The cat will enjoy it after the first time or two because you are doing what his mom did!Best wishes.

Take your cat to the vet immediately! It is VERY possible he has a blockage in the intestine which will not allow the food to be digested, so it comes back up! This will cause dehydration! It happened to my cat, and had we waited any longer, he would have died! Good luck!

It depends on what your cat is throwing up. if it is food, it could be a blockage, or he eats too much, and his stomach can't hold all of it, and pukes up the rest. ( my cat does that often. ) If it is hairballs, brush him more often. Also it could be that he has a sensitive stomach and needs special food. or he could be allergic. The best way to find out is to take him to the vet, and tell them what's up. good luck!

VET ! NOW !

the cat is sick, or maybe even suffering from poisoning.

Do you have any houseplants? Some of them are poison to cats.

He might have a blocked intestine. Take it to the vet ASAP...this could kill him.
