When Christians invented (replacement theology) it to begin with?

Islam is just doing to the bible what you did to the Torah. What goes around comes around.

Have you read the Bible and The Quran? The Quran has more errors in it than any book I've ever seen that is supposed to be historical. It even says that the earth is flat and is carried on the backs of turtles! An the Sun sets into a muddy swamp (look it up if you dont believe me). The NT does not conflict with the Torah and it doesnt replace anything in the Torah. I read the Torah just like I read the NT.... one doesnt have to not believe in the OT to believe in the NT. But The Quran doesnt agree with either of these books in any way- it is contradictory to the Bible in numerous ways. Muslims use circular arguments and say that because the Bible doesnt agree with the Quran it must be incorrect, but that's on the assumption that the Quran is the Word of "God". I could say the same thing about the Bible but the other way around. That is not a stable philisophical arguement.
The NT doesnt replace the Torah or its laws...it is a continuation of God's plan. The NT doesnt claim that the Torah is in error in any way. It simply fulfills the prophecies and the law, and the OT states that this would happen.

Interesting question and interesting answers.

First, not all Christians believe in replacement theology. I do not believe in replacement theology and I know lots of people that don't. I believe that every promise God made to the Nation of Israel will be fulfilled to them.

God has not replaced Israel with the Church--nor has He forgotten Israel.

Secondly, not all Christians are angry people. I am sorry that you think this; but we might say that all Muslims are angry people, too, only that wouldn't be a fair assessment, right? Or, that all IRS agents are mean.

I realize that it's hard not to judge a people/group based on an experience or several experiences with a person, but we must try.

Insecure people on any side, Christian or Muslim get angry if someone questions their core belief that they and their entire community adheres to. They see people who question their faith as questioning their wisdom and saying their whole system is screwed up.

In fact, the MOST HIGH Lord has allowed spiritual paths that vary in degree of austerity based on the passage of time. As people matured more, the laws perhaps became more strict and more restrictions were placed.

Thus Christians in many cases see the Prophet of Islam as an upstart (sic) who had the nerve and the resources to "create a new religion", when in fact our Prophet Mohammad clearly says that ISLAM or OBEDIENCE to THE ALMIGHTY is not something he brought, but has been around since the time of Adam himself.

He brought the latest and most developed system (from our perspective), which balances the laws of Justice with Mercy.

In broad terms, Jewish folks had the laws of JUSTICE, which were given by Moses. Christ brought the additional laws of MERCY, to soften the laws of Justice once justice was well entrenched in the Jewish society.

When the balance was lost and MERCY replaced Justice (which it was not meant to do), then in my belief the Lord ALmighty sent our Prophet Mohammad to bring back the balance that Jesus meant to bring which got misconstrued in trying to appease the Romans who were very brutal. The early Christians did not want to talk about justice as that would require that the Romans be punished for the evil they did. The early Christians said we are a faith of MERCY, not brutality, which is how the Romans were slowly changed to accept a more gentle religion.

In the process the laws of Justice were side lined. Thus there was a need for our Prophet, who brought back balance to the laws of Justice and Mercy.

Besides under the influence of the Romans who had god-men, such as Hercules who was the son of god Zeus of the heavens, the Christians changed some of their belief systems to make it less intrusive and more acceptable to the potential Roman convert.

I hope I am making sense.

well why do muslims get upset that christians aren't muslims...

why are you upset that christians used replacement theology on the torah...

why do we all care so much about the soul and the beliefs of the people around us?

if we all didn't feel it was our job to change the opinions of everyone else to match our own...i think we could all be a little happier on this planet....

WRONG. the Bible includes the Torah.(which btw are the first five books in the Bible plus the psalms and the proverbs.) not the same. furthermore, THE ENTIRE BIBLE WAS WRITTEN by the Jews, from cover to cover. so what got replaced? even Christians, when the thing started were Jews! God wanted Gentiles to be adopted into His Covenant with the Jews! (which makes me an adopted Jew! mazel tov to me!)

It isn't really replacement theology; it's more like history. In the book of Isaiah, Isaiah predicts the coming of a Messiah (in fact, the whole OT is full of prophecies about Jesus). And when Jesus came, that was history in the making.

I think your a little off the track buddy. its not a question of theology its a matter of cutting off heads, treating women and other religions like less than dogs I don't think theres any problem with the fact you worship Allah the Jews believe differently and Christians aren't ""unset"" with them but then they just haven't slaughtered any Christians lately , can't say the same for Muslims. So don't tamper with my bible its been dipped in pigs blood.

Islam was established by the catholic faith. the plan backfired to win converts. Ask any high islamic cleric and they will deny it unless you are a very important person to islam, or you can go to the vatican and explore thier old papers/plans.

Because they feel threatened by Islam because deep inside they know that they should follow it and it's the true religion. They're just in denial.
