It's freakin obvious! Maybe they never saw apes, or something.

Maybe because they didn't care, just like I don't.

It's really a matter of access to a large enough segment of people to make a full comparison.

For example, because of the internet, many people, (by virtue of your posts), get to see how some humans, just as monkeys, do throw crap around.

Although to be honest, I think apes and monkeys have progressed much quicker than humans in terms of reaching harmony with their environment, and culling the social circle of alberrant malcontents.

I think your own answer is the right one.

I challenge anyone who doubts our evolutionary origins to go to a wildlife park and spend some time watching any of the great apes. See how their movements and behaviour so closely match our own. See them care for their young as we do. See the expressiveness in their eyes.

Unless you are completely insensible, I guarantee that you will be awestruck, not by how different they are from human beings, but how obvious it is that they are our close relatives.

Mainworry says:

"For this theory or fallacy of evolution to be true there would be evident stages of evolution today. You would be able to find species in many stages of evolution in nature right now. For this theory or fallacy of evolution to be true there would be no God".

Then congratulations, you have disproved god, for every individual living organism on Earth is part of the ongoing process of evolution. Every species you see today is just today's stage on the road to tomorrow's new species.

Put down your bible, for you have seen the light :-)

What lauren says below about Darwin is, of course, a flat-out lie. She may not be the one doing the lie, she may believe what she read or heard from some other evolution denier, but it is a lie nonetheless.

EVOLUTION

The introduction to Genesis and to the whole Bible ascribes everything to the living God, creating, making, acting, moving, and speaking. There is no room for evolution without a flat denial of Divine revelation. One must be true the other false. All of God’s works are good, great, wondrous, and perfect.

Man starts from nothing. He begins in helplessness, ignorance, and inexperience. All his works, therefore, proceed on the principle of evolution. This principle is only seen in human affairs: from the hut to the palace; from the canoe to the ocean liner; from the spade to the plowshare to machines. But the birds build their nests today as at the beginning. There is growth and development within man, but no passing, change, or evolution out from one into another.

For this theory or fallacy of evolution to be true there would be evident stages of evolution today. You would be able to find species in many stages of evolution in nature right now. For this theory or fallacy of evolution to be true there would be no God. And that’s exactly what evolutionists believe and are trying prove. The evolutionist bases his or her conclusions on human assumptions and reasoning, instead of on the documentary evidence of the manuscripts.

because we don't come from apes, and they were smart enough to realize that! evolution has so many holes and inconsistencies, i really don't see how anyone can believe it. even darwin HIMSELF said on his deathbed that he doesn't believe his own theory! and remember, it's a THEORY! try doing some research instead of just following what everyone says, and you'll see that all the so called evolution "discoveries" have either fallen through, or they don't have an explanation for.

its obvious a horse is related to a zebra to right? but the fact of the matter is they are two entirely different animals and one never changes into another ... it takes a brilliant mind to assume one comes from a monkey lol

None of them knew that apes even existed because no one had traveled far enough into Africa (and back) to see them.

Perhaps because they did have more important things to do, like explored the true Spirituality of their Humanity, and or perhaps trying keeping their self closer to God??? instead of trying to become freeks?
