In Islam, it is prophecied the complete destruction of Israel. In the bible, itis prophecied the restoration of Israel.

Do you you think the same God inspired both prophecies?

One believes the Bible is the Word of God, and the other think the Koran is the last Word of God & the Bible has been corrupted.

What Word do you think is the true Word of God?

Please answer all three questions.

abouterchess, Thanks for your clarity. I have a prophecy from Isaiah 19:20-25. (Book of Isaiah was found in the dead sea scrolls & basically is the same as in the Bible.) It writes that Egypt will return to the biblical Lord God & so will Assyria. So will Israel. That Israel will be a third with Egypt & Assyria. There will be peace. The Lord of Host will bless them, saying, "Blessed be Egypt my people, and Assyria the work of my hands, and Israel mine inheritance.".

Isaiah is proved a true prophet of God. Elsewhere, it is written that to destroy Israel one would have to destroy God's Heaven first. It is prophecied in the bible that God is going to pour fire judgment on Gog & Magog who come against Israel in the end after the 1000 yr reign of Christ when Satan is loosed to deceive again (Rev. 20) (Satan gets thrown in the lake of fire). There is a heavenly Jerusalem, a new heaven & a new earth after the Great White Throne Judgement.

Israel isn't destroyed.

To all who think the Bible has been messed with, Get the july-august 2006 issue of decision magazine, "The authority of the bible. Why we can trust it. Why we must obey it.". Call 1-877-247-2426 or web site: decisionmag.org or email: decision@bgea.org for a copy. This is a must read in the confusion of today.

I believe the Koran is anti-Christ & anti-semitic to the core. It does have some beautiful truth in it, but then it adds or takes away from what is prophecied in the Bible.

Also, the biblical Lord God is against the enemies of Israel. God's Word never fails so all will see God's Word is true to Glory of Almighty God.

AK, I have to disagree with you. I would never call the Koran's Allah my Heavenly Father. God would seriously discipline me. I believe the Bible True completely. Even the part that God disciplines His own.

I hope you wont have an ak attack about it.

Okey thanks For Your 3 Questions :)

Well the first answer is the prophecy of the Bible says the restoration of Israel which already happened and Israel was restored in 1948 and now it a country as for the prophecy of Muhammad it said the destruction of Israel which didn't happen yet so as you see these two prophecies are completely different and they don't conflict with each other as you thought

second answer : Well Muslim believe that the bible is the word of God and God himself talked allot about the bible in the Quran saying it is a guide to people and it is a light to people but as you can see now the Bible lost its original language which was Aramaic and it has now The words of God plus the words of translators plus the words of historians so as you can see the human factor has got into it that why we say it is not 100% from God now

Third answer : The True word of God is the book that was never changed never lost its original language never conflicts with logic or human nature and memorized in its original language by more than 9,000,000 million person in the far east only :) ....I bet you know now that it is not The Bible I'm talking about

This is not a contravercy it has already happened Israel was destroyed and its people dispersed among the world. You have to read the Bible in the context it was written. Just to quote anything out of context is wrong. and there is no book in the world that has been quoted so much out of context then the Bible.

1. The true Word of God is in our hearts, when your heart tells you to be good you know it is from the only good source there is our father in heaven and you will get a warm feeling when it is right.

2. The Bible was written by man, and if you know anything about human nature you know that man wants to make things theirs. I'm not saying God didn't inspire man to write it but just how much of it were God's actual words and how much were man's perspective of what was being said? This is why we think of the Bible as corrupt, also because there were wars faught on what books to keep in and leave out of the Bible hardly God's work if you ask me. God does not wish men to fight over anything but to live together in harmony with his precious gift Earth.

3. I believe that the true Word of God is in the Ten Commandments, for if we truly lived this way the world would be at piece.

Because they are wrong.

No, I do not think that God inspired the Koran.

The Bible is the Word of God explained through various situations of history. The Koran is one man's interpretation or should I say creation of something.

The Bible is the the true Word of God.

Well, I think that people think they are the same God because they are both the God of Abraham.

I do not think that God inspired both prophesies. Which one is true depends on which prophet you believe was actually getting divine inspiration.

While I believe there is a great deal of wisdom and peace in the Koran, I believe that that Bible is the word of God as far as it is translated correctly.

Its great that all P Dummies thinks all so-called fairy taled Gods are different. Don't you think its time start thinking where the hell we really came from instead of looking for a never seen creation of mankind. I bet the Germans still thinks Hitler was God.

How can a book be holy. It's filled with hate, mistrust, bigamy etc..
This have to be the biggest and best betray in history - to get a whole nation into thinking there was one man with all this power.

The difference between the Book and T.V --- One you can see and know its produce by power hungry aliens. The other a frame of mind- what you cannot see draws fear.

Its a pretentious front. I've notice ppl who practices any Religion are not nice folks in any way or shape.

there is only one God (Allah).he is the God of all humans.however some people don't know him or think that he is something of what they see like moon ,sun, stars, cows ,and those r pagans.
christians think that he is the jesus, although the jesus is not more than a humanbeing.he is great, yes, but still a human being.
the koran prophecied the complete destruction of israel after restoration"this solves your conflict"
the belief that the bible is corrupted and the koran is the pure true word of Allah is based on objective evidences.

Ok, I think you got it all wrong.

God sent 4 books to humans, last one being Quran. Therefore, all books have God's ( one God and same God) message to people.

I am not aware of any destruction of Israel prohecied in Quran. You should read that part again.

The reason why Muslims believe Quran is the last word of God is because it is stated like that in Quran.

If God says Quran is his last word, then it is.

As for Bible and the Old Testatement, unfortunately, it is proved that both books have been revised by people , some texts still missing and therefore, we are not sure that the content bears God's exact words and since Quran still stands as the only original book, not revised by any human, words in Quran are regarded as God's last and original words to humans.

it is the same god. first he talked to the Jews and gave them ten commandments because folks were misbehaving. not all of the Jews listened, and they didn't do a good job spreading the news to other humans. so then he sent his son Jesus. Jesus simplified the commandments into two rules of living, and told his followers, the Christians to spread the "good news" (those rules) throughout the world. but then the Christian's organized religion became corrupt, and not all Christians were being true to the ways of Jesus.
so god said enough of this crap! why can't these humans behave and be decent types?
so he talked to Mohamed and gave him very strict rules to follow. he also told him to go out in the world and either convert the other tribes of people or kill them.
unfortunately, this plan isn't working either...
that is why both books are wrong. Israel, as well as the rest of civilization is going to be destroyed, so that god can try again with homo sapien 2.0.
