It is just the work of the PR company hired by Vicente Fox to try to soothe things over in American...in the past, we've been taken in by this sort of thing...no more.
Kinda like calling a rapist an uninvited lover, don't you think?

It's a pretty concise and accurate description of people who are in the United States illegally.
I believe in calling things what they are, so I like the designation. I am not unsympathetic to illegal aliens who come to the United States to work and find a better life, but I would like to see them do it legally in some fashion, whatever that might be.

Does the truth hurt you? Would you rather be called the "n" word or african american. Its a matter of being educated. No human being is illegal and they are not aliens. Aliens come from another planet.

I agree completely. The latest version is "undocumented immigrant", and it totally cracks me up.
First, if you didn't go through the immigration process, you aren't an immigrant. Second, if you didn't enter the country legally, you did it illegally, which makes you a criminal.
Unfortunately, liberals hate classifying people according to their actions, such as calling someone who commits crimes a criminal.
