Have you ever heard of a three letter word called VET??? There are so many reasons a cat or any domestic animal throws up, it is hard to judge. A vet at least could start to narrow down the reasons with questions and blood test, etc. To own a cat or any pet you need to be able to offer it the best care, which is most likely going to come from a vet, not a Q&A board.

You may want to change the food you are feeding your cat. If the cat is having a hard time with the hairballs you might want to try feeding you cat a small teaspoon of Vaseline. I was told this years ago my a very good vet. It works with our dogs and cats. Good Luck.

There are SOOOOO many reasons your cat could be throwing up. You can try switching foods, but it'll take a while to find the right food. Look for sample-size packets of food. Some places will actually let you return cat food if only a little is used.

Brush him to help remove the loose fur, and buy him hairball-control formula cat food. If that doesn't help, take him to the vet and get him checked. In fact, you might want to schedule a vet appointment anyway to make sure nothing serious is going on.
Good luck!

What are the circumstances behind the throwing up? Has your cat just eaten? or done heavy grooming? My cat tends to throw up if she gets excited and eats too fast. If you can't track what a root cause is then you need to get the cat to the vet. Your kitty needs proper nutrition.

Take him to the vet immediately to see what the source is. If nothing else you have used has worked to stop the throwing up, taking him to the vet is the best thing to do. I hope he feels better.

Your cat might be having abdominal problems. I think you should take your cat to the vet to see what is wrong. It could be anything. Your cat might of ate something that should not have been eaten or something like that. Or something can be wrong with its digestive track. Take your cat to the vet.

He could have an obstruction in his GI tract. I have a cat who had that problem until he got older and now he seldom vomits. It might be vet visit time.
