Why not just ask the dining facility? They should have the manuel handy, just in case of a surprise inspection.

Yes both are prohibited. No gym wear i.e. sweats and such, no flip flops or "pool" shoes. Jeans (no holes), nice T w/sleeves and tennis shoes should be fine.
