I think that I will stop reading the questions that seem weird or insulting, or contain profane language and just concentrate on the ones that seem genuine...

does that seem reasonable to you?

I definately agree with you, but sometimes it's hard to know when a question is genuine because sometimes they are disguised with an insulting description that turns the question profane.

But the only way we can stop questions like that from continuing is to ignore them by not answering, and acknowledge them by reporting them.

Some are insulting indeed. But most of the questions some people find insulting are only disagreeing. We don't all have to consider religious matters sacred. That's our right. And when we don't worship those things, some of you may think we're being insulting. But we aren't. We just don't feel the same. Feel insulted when you read someone insult YOU as a Christian, not when you read someone attack your religion. Most of the times, that's not personal, and many of us know the difference.

Yes, it does. There are so many questions that are simply repeats of previous questions. Why ask them again? Why not simply look up the previous answers? Because answers are not what these people want...they want to insult you or try to frighten you and maybe try to convert you...I wonder how that's working? How many people on this site have converted to a religion or from a religion after reading a question? I doubt that happens...so there's no logical reason to ask questions about people's faith or lack of it except to tell them what you think of them. Can't we just give that a rest?

I do the same thing. These diatribes in disguise as question's are actually getting pretty boring. It's the reason why I left the Yahoo News Message boards. Too many people posting questions and responses just to be nasty.

I think some of the insults aren't even disguised. I try to ignore them but I can't help giving a zinger once in a while.

Maybe you are a christian or a muslim, and just interpret questioning your religion as an insult.
It is possible you know.
for example.... I asked.... If 'God' is a he, how big is his penis?
As far as im concerned its a totally legit question. Some christians will not doubt see it as insulting, because they dont see the simplicity in such a question. If one KNOWS God is a 'He' they must have some knowledge relating to 'His' genitels. for thats how humans determine sex. So a christian may see the question as disgusting........I see it as reasonable. I ask questions like a child, i am like a child.

Of course they are because instead of having anything intelligent to debate or question some people would rather just enrage others in the hopes of lowering them to their level. I guess they cannot think of any really intelligent questions.

Good Luck in finding good questions

The web gives all users equal access. And anything in print has a certain impact or legitimacy that it usually doesn't deserve. Remember, we're all mostly knuckleheads here.

Sounds good to me. The Scripture does say, "Woe unto them that do gender strife" so I think i'll avoid as amany as i possibly can to avoid dragging God into a childlike argument.

Yep!

Not very disguised.

It is sad that people under the age of 10 can post here, but that's the way it is.
