There is nothing sissy about a man having long hair. It takes more than hair to make a real man.

It all depends on the man who's wearing the long hair. If he has it in pigtails or a cute little bun, then yes it's sissy. However, I definitely wouldn't call a 300 lb biker with a shoulder length ponytail sissy. Would you?

Ihope so I have lone hair and I don't think of it as sissy most of my family has lone hair my dad, mom, sister, grandmother, and grandfather I am a 16 year old male and I personally don't think of my self as a sissy and some have lone hair as a religious right I now a few native Americans men and they are any than but sissy.

Dag gum it! I guess I am a sissy. gonna have to chop the locks to a respectable length.
I would say that its all about your personal style and sense of fashion and taste. You may look at a guy with long hair and think sissy. some really hot girl may look at the same guy and think sexy.
So who knows. guess the long hair thing isn't for you?

It's not "sissy". If it's kept clean and neat and pulled back when you need it to look neat (job or going somewhere fancier) then it's a personal choice. It also depends upon what part of the country you live in. In a big, cosmopolitan city, you may have a problem, but in a smaller town, perhaps it would be more accepted. Also, if you're over 30, consider keeping it shorter, unless you're in a rock-band or the entertainment business.

Long pony tail with clean washed hair is fabulous and not sissy , where did youget that idea? Does everyone need to look like a Marine at boot camp?

I wouldn't call it sissy.....but I don't think too long of hair on ANYONE looks that great. Once it gets to a certain point it just lays flat anyways and you can see every little split.
But shoulder length or a little longer on a guy can look nice.

Maybe some other people think that too, but you dont need to base you total opinion on someone by their looks. Some guys really do look good with long hair and others just really dont. So try making friend with someone with long hair and see what kind of person they are.

I don't like long hair on a man, but that's my personal thinking.
I believe that long hair belongs to a women. Then I think that in the day's of Jesus, did Jesus have long hair? Or hair like the style of the day which was Roman short hair.
