I never allowed a cat to sleep with me until about 8 yrs ago. I really missed out on that special closeness that I have now with my cat. You are her family now that she has been separated from her mom and siblings so it is natural for her to want to cuddle. Most of the time my cats over the years have just slept at my feet but Bootsie snuggles after I go to sleep and sometimes I wake up and it is nice felling to know she is there. She totally-unconditionally loves me! If the cat gets near your face, just scoot the cat over to teach her where you will allow her. If you sleep soundly and turn alot teach her to sleep at your feet or on top of the covers so you will not squish her!Best wishes! Oh and don't worry about her peeing in your bed. They never pee where they sleep!

For my part this is one of the pleasures of having a cat or kitten. If both of you agree on this then it is fine. If one of the partners doesn't go for it then the kitten needs to sleep elsewhere. Can you get another kitten? Two will be company for each other and not be so lonely is they have to sleep in a room by themselves.
With a kitten you can't expect to have a good night's sleep for a long while. They are just so full of it. With their boundless energy they won't respect your need for sleep.
Be prepared to have your toes and ears nibbled on too. My first kittens would go under the covers stay forever. I was scared they would suffocate!

Holy guacamolly.
My kitten is also 10 weeks old, and for some off reason he doesnt sleep in his bed. He just jumps to my bed.
...and uses me as a scratching post sometimes.
So yeah.. I dont know. I do it, so I'd say it's okay.

It is okay for your kitten to sleep in your bed. My cat of 15 years still sleeps with me or with my parents. She thinks she is a human though. She sleeps wherever she wants in my bed and I end up sleeping on the edge of the bed or in an uncomfortable position because I don't want to disturb her. She is spoiled rotten and she knows it!

I have a 11 week old kitten and she loves to sleep with me. She does wake me up throughout the night when she is trying to play with me, but a little squirt from a water gun gets her to stop. Or I just keep a toy on the bed and redirect her attention to it. Also, I have woken up after rolling on top of her... thankfully I'm a light sleeper so I woke up right away. But all of the trouble is worth it when I wake up in the middle of the night and see her cuddled up next to my face!

There is nothing wrong with the kitten sleeping with you. They like to cuddle. They don't take up to much room normally. Becareful not to roll over onto her though. Good Luck and happy sleep time for all of you

It's up to you. Ours sleep in bed with us and don't seem to be the worse for it. But we do have to wash the bedding a little more often to keep the fur out of it.

It's fine, but if you toss and turn a lot you might want to put one of those small flat cushions with the raised edges down near the foot of your bed. When she starts to get too active and you want to sleep, just kick her out of the bedroom for a while. Eventually, she'll get it.
