Well you can be spiritual and a believer without going to church. Unfortunately people have very busy lives in this day and age so things get hectic, but not everyone loses sight.
Also church can be somewhat drawl and it doesn't always cater to the younger people, so it is easy for young adults to lose interest for awhile and come back later in their lives. Although lately I've noticed several churches here that have mass that caters to that age group, not many and unfortunately not the Catholic church.

It depends on your church. We have had a lot of success with Young people in our Community. But we have excellent Youth groups and University programs. We try to link the kids into a University Program while they are in their Senior Year. I think kids are in the most danger when they go off to College because college Profs are a huge percentage Atheists. I know lots of Christians who have lost or quit jobs at Universities because it is such an anti-Christian environment.
I have met young people trying to break into jobs at Universities and if they find out you are Christian they won't hire you because you must be an intolerant idiot!
I have the opportunity to teach at a Community College through a Christian Prof there who is helping me get in.

Some churches don't teach things very well, and that makes me sad. Some churches judge more than they love, and young people get turned off by this.. I'm thankful my church is relatively healthy and has helped me in my spiritual life. I hope those who turn away find better places to grow.

from those who have returned.. it was because they "got busy" doing other things... working 7 days a week, going to school, raising a family...
some who left did not have a good belief anyway... they never understood what was taught and they had bad experiences with "someone" in the church...
a common thread is that others in the church are judgemental and condemn you for doing something that you don't feel is wrong...
there are lots of reasons given... and many that return express regret that they did not stay in the church and work out their problems or change their priorities to match more with what Jesus taught.

you're being verbally and emotionally abused by your mom and omitted too. i do no longer frequently say this however the subsequent time she is going out of the homestead, %. up your private homestead and go away. go away your stuff with a depended on chum (do no longer tell your loved ones however) and then pass to a homeless shelter. As undesirable as they are, they are greater advantageous than your place life. And as you're so youthful, they are able to in all probability placed you in touch with an adolescent's venture/shelter or locate another source of shelter for you till you end severe college. and albeit speaking, i could turn your mom in to baby's help. As mom's pass, she is especially undesirable! Take care.

Evolution is being taught in school. It contradicts the Bible and tells our kids that they are monkeys and aren't worth anything other than some atoms.
