They'd rather think your a sick hate-monger than a thoughtful person who just has a different idea of right and wrong. It's easier for them, because that way they don't even feel like they have to consider your opinion. It's sad, but that's pretty much how it works.

It may or may not be clinically "phobic."

It is highly unusual for a person to pick a specific set of scripture to constantly express bigotry and hatred, it begins to show some of the symptoms of a "phobia." Especially when you insist that YOUR opinion of the subject is the final word on the subject.

Most of the time it has nothing at all to do with you. A person who was properly balanced wouldn't be so hell fire bent on minding somebody else's business.

It may not be a "phobia," however it does suggest a personality disorder. Or at least the beginning symptoms of one.

In reality, it doesn't matter what the bible or your beliefs are about anything. You are most free to believe what you want. You are free to express it. I draw the line at insisting your way is the ONLY way. I can understand why people would mistake it for a "phobia." Your condition can share some symptoms with those who are "phobic."

Who cares I'm with the Bible whether I'm phobic or not!

"For in him dwelleth all the fullness of the Godhead bodily."
-- Colossians 2:9

"Have I been so long time with you, and yet hast thou not known me, Philip? he that hath seen me hath seen the Father; and how sayest thou then, Shew us the Father?"
-- John 14:9

"Jesus said unto them, Verily, verily, I say unto you Before Abraham was, I AM."
-- John 8:58

"There are three essentials of the church: acknowledgment of the divine of the Lord, acknowledgment of the holiness of the Word [Bible], and the life which is called charity" (Divine Providence n. 259[3]).

No, just neurotic. Only Joking, no I don't believe you would be called phobic, unless you completely start freaking out and living your life around it.

Because it puts the ball in your court, and can force you into an argumentative state. One has nothing to do with the other most of the time.
