Since dogs have special acids in their stomachs to break down most harmful bodies, in the end to the dog the types of water are just water either way. I would say faucet since it is easier to get.

Fact is it don't really matter. Dogs have been living to a ripe old age without mineral waters. Actually they use to live to older age and healthier before bagged dog food. You want your dog around for a very long time just make sure it has fresh, clean water. A good healthy diet, love and a visit to the vet once and awhile. It'll be happy and so will you

Faucet with a filter, they get enough minerals in a good dog food.

It depends on your dog, some like mineral, and some like faucet.

I think you should try both, to see what your dog likes.

My dachshund puppies always drank faucet water.

So I guess it all depends on your dog.

Good Luck. =]

Just give it tap water. My dogs have survived just fine on tap water and they have no problems with using the bathroom as a previous poster stated. Its more important to make sure the bowl stays clean.

I have a PUR filter on my faucet so my pup gets that. If I won't drink tap water, why would I give it to him?
