if you do, use a banner behind you so he can read it after you throw the confetti. the banner can read to the best dad I love you or something like that so that he knows why you just assulted him with paper "jibblets" (as someone here called them) ( i like that jibblets) but anyhoo go for it, any dad want to know that he is loved and doing a good job.

be prepared to clean up the mess. Why don't you wait until the weekend and make your dad breakfast in bed, take him to the batting cages or something. but hey, confetti is alot of fun.

Just make sure you are throwing the confetti and not the bucket.
Maybe you should add some noise-makers and streamers.
Make it a parade!

If he has a good sense of humor and you clean up your own mess, yes. Please don't let your mom clearn up the mess. Maybe you should do it on a Friday, because some dads are not in a good mood the minute they get home from work........

LMAO- there are more less childish ways to show him you love him than to throw jibblets of paper at him. try a nice hug and i love you or even a handmade card would do.

As a parent, normally I'm easily upset by messes... but even I have a weak spot for spontaneous displays of affection, even if it means confetti.
Confetti isn't a mess... it's a messy proclaimation of love. ^_^ .Voo
