Honestly, I am not sure what you are asking. People of like mind attract one another. If that is what you are asking. There is a HUGE theological difference between muslims and christians. Muslims believe Jesus was only a prophet. Christians believe that Jesus is the Son of God. Does this mean the two cannot be friends??? I don't know. I do find it difficult to share my life with one that believes to drastically different. My Christianity is my life. I fellowship with those who believe the same. However, I love all and want to share Jesus with all. Muslims don't take too kindly to having to sit and listen to "Jesus love you." I do try to make friends with anyone. However, it will become clear through my life that I am devoted to Jesus. I go to church three times a week. I am a Sunday School teacher, Awana leader, and my husband is a deacon. We live our lives as it is laid out in the Bible. Honestly, that makes it difficult to have close friendships with those outside of that life. That is simply the way of things. Like minded people are attracted to like minded people.

Muslims are only suppose to befriend other Muslims if the Quran is to be taken literally. They are suppose to kill ppl that are not considered "people of the book". Some verses command Muslims to live in peace with Christian and Jews, but commands them not to be friends with them.

I still remember the days before 9/11 when I was happy with my friends but unfortunately the Christian community- Muslim Community friendship went out of business. Yes its sad, its because of Jews and Al qaeda that get in the way..

I think honestly it's because true christians follow the bible. Not that it says not to talk to certain people, but what muslims believe in is totally different then christians. And in the bible god also said try to surrounf yourself with other christians. They would teach you more about the bible, but maybe they think that you won't listen.

If a person is only brought up knowing people from his/her own background (ethnic, religions, racial) those are the people he/she is the most comfortable with.
It just takes more time and a little more effort, but you can be friends with anybody.
I've become friends with people who are extremely racist and prejudiced - it takes patience and persistence.

If you are Muslim then it is natural that you gravitate to Muslims.
If you don't know any Christians......... go to one of their churches and start talking to one of them. They are just people like you are.
I don't know if your religion permits this, if not.... don't do it.
