I have a Jenday Conure and when I put new things in his cage, he seems to ignore them for awhile. All of a sudden it becomes his favorite thing. I used to think he didn't like something and would take it out. I've noticed with him, that in a week or so, he will be all over it. I would leave it in there, your bird will take to it soon, I'm sure.

It seems as though she doesn't much like cuttle. Is there only 1 lovebird? She might be lonely and need another lovebird there with her. Maybe they're best kept in no fewer than pairs.

Put it where she can reach it easily from a STATIONARY perch, not a swing. I put mine on the end of one wooden perch. Give her time, she will get around to it. If not, just move IT and nothing else in the cage, that will attract her to it. New location.

where you have it is perfect...some birds just don't like their cuttle bones. the bird i have now, doesn't touch it, but my other bird use to eat it like crazy. it just depends.
