If the dog has to be free, do you have enough money to pay for the food, the toys, the leash, the collar, the shots, the vet visits?

If the dog gets sick, will you be able to take him to the vet, or will you make him suffer because "I can't afford it"?

My neighbor has a 2yr.old male, neutered pitbull she's planning to give away.I live very near Peoria and would be willing to bring him to you IF you can pass my screening.
This dog is housebroken,he's sweet and loving but he's been horribly neglected his whole life and he's just started snapping at his owner. But before you dismiss him let me say that he spends alot of time with me and my german shepherds. All males. And I have no problem with him until she comes to take him home. He's perfectly content to take his place at the back of the pack grateful for the companionship and the love he gets here.On bad weather days he's content to lay on my couch snuggling with me or one of my dogs.He has a fairly passive personality when his needs are met.He requires someone who's had previous experience with pits who has a fairly dominant personality who'll keep him in check while giving him the exercise he badly needs daily and the opportunity to socialize with people and other animals and give him a whole lot of love.
