6,446,131,400 People on Earth
2,100,000,000 Christians

4,346,131,400 People damned to hell (plus any Christians who have doubts)

Not to mention the billions upon billions of people who have already died.

So your god makes all these billions of people knowing full well that the vast majority will spend eternity in anguish for not having a belief.

Nice Guy

It's not the higer power's fault! It's the early Christians fault. They're the ones that made up the story that if you don't believe you're going to hell. That was their schtick to get people to convert to Christianity.

6,446,131,400 People on Earht
2,100,000,000 Christians

4,346,131,400 will ALL be given an opportunity to know the truth. Everyone gets to CHOOSE heaven or hell.

God has made provision for the billions upon billions of people who have already died. They will ALL get to CHOOSE between heaven or hell.

In fact, not only does God give everybody a chance to choose, he acknowledges that not one of the billions of people you've listed can make it on their own, so he sent Jesus to do the hard part for us.

Now, all ANYBODY has to do is acknowledge the truth. All they have to do is not call Almighty God a liar to his face.

Is that really asking too much?

There is a verse that says something like, by whatever maner you judge people, so will you be judged. There are billions of people who who never had the opportunity to hear about Jesus, so they will be judged according to the laws they know. Even Jesus had doubts. When He was on the cross, He ask God why He was abandoned. Doubt will not keep you out of Heaven. You've been listening to too many fundimentalists who have a very strict interpretation of things.

Salvation is a gift freely given to anyone who DECIDES to take it. God is a just God. A just God cannot look upon sin. This is why the sacrifice of Jesus was necessary for our salavation. We come to the Father through the son. Jesus became sin and took punishment for us. As long as we choose Jesus we are choosing salvation. God gave us free will. We all have the choice. Are you sure this is the source of your real confusion about the Lord? Should a just God just overlook sin? Hell is not punishment for the sinners. We are all sinners. Hell is to confine Satan and his demons. However, if you choose to NOT take the gift of salvation then you cannot live with in Heaven. So, there is only one other place. You seem to think this isn't fair. Would it be more fair for God to make us drones and have no choice?

We know God is love by the fact that we are still living: when He could just as easily say: ‘Enough is Enough: let’s be done with it, create another BIG BANG and wipe us all out in one tiny breath!! Which lets face it… would be a lot easier for Him, than to spend years watching those you love destroy each other, & the creation you have made!!!

But this would mean God then breaking a promise!!

We also know He is LOVE: by the fact that He gave us the 'Freedom' to choose to have 'Faith' & believe in Him & His Way/Word, or not to believe & have faith!!

This ‘CHOICE’ has been given to EACH ‘INDIVIDUAL HUMAN to make!! He could have just as easily TAKEN away this ‘FREEDOM’: & ‘MADE’ us all worship & follow Him like robots!! Again think on how much it must hurt Him: to know that not ‘All’ people will choose to follow Him: but go their own way instead!!

And by the fact that he sent His only son: and that His only son: to die/was willing to die for sin: that billions of people might live, and not have to suffer the punishment of their own sin!!!

There is so much you nor I will never understand or comprehend: but understand this… no matter how much you disbelieve: it wont kill the need to believe!!

May God lead you to the truth… Amen!!

It's called free will. He wants us to love Him and he gives us a choice. What point would it be to make mindless clones who only do what you want because you made them do it? One third of the world CHOOSES to love God. Another third doesn't even know about God because no one has ever told them (like because they live in the jungles and third world areas and things like that).

If you want to blame someone, blame Satan, because his sole purpose is to turn people against God and cause sin and hate and intolerance. Satan poisons the minds of people and tricks them into thinking that God is either a myth or a delusion or a horrible being.

I can tell you that I know Jesus personally and have a very close relationship with God, and they are both wonderful, and they asked me to tell you that they love you very much and they can't wait until the day you love them back.

First we need to determine which God we are talking about here. Are you referring to the real God, the unconditionally loving God who we are all a part of? This is the one Jesus was talking about when he said the kingdom of God is within you. The one who is our dearest friend and closest companion.

Or are we talking about the angry little judgmental God that lives on some far off cloud called heaven. The one who seems to be more concerned with our errors than he is with our successes? You know the egocentric needy little God that always wants people to worship him. The one who is always unavailable because he is only a fantasy? You need to specify if you want a real answer.

I can claim that God is love because hell is only the grave. It is not a horrible place. Hell is temporary, for God's Son Jesus is going to resurrect those who are in hell. Revelation tells us that Jesus has the keys to hell, meaning he will open the graves of those who have fallen asleep in death to be reunited with their families and loved ones. [ Revelation 1:18 ]
Revelation 20:13,14 tells us also__" And the sea gave up the dead which were in it; and death and hell delivered up the dead which were in them: and they were judged every man according to their works. And death and hell were cast into the lake of fire. This is the second death.
We can see here that hell delivers up its dead and then they are judged. Hell and death are then destroyed forever. This will be a wonderful time--no more death and no more graves.
The Bible tells us that the dead cannot feel anything. " For the living know that they shall die: but the dead know not any thing--
Whatsoever thy hand findeth to do, do it with thy might; for there is no work, nor device, nor knowledge, nor wisdom, in the grave, whither thou goest."Ecclesiastes 9:5,10
This knowledge brings us closer to the God who gave us life if we know that he does not torture anyone. If someone burned or tortured someone close to you for a long time, how would you feel about that person? Would you respect them or want to be close to them? Satan loves it when the churches of Christendom make God out to be so terrible and sadistic. When the Bible tells us that God is love, that is what it means. The resurrection of those who have fallen asleep in death is a wonderful act of love from a Creator who cares about all of us.

For one thing, no one KNOWS how many people are in hell. We don't know what is happening to a soul at the end of their life. They could have true sorrow for their sins and get to heaven after some pergatory (s/p?) time. And most Catholics won't despair. I don't worry about that. I take care of my own soul and the souls of the people around me. I don't care if I thought I was the only one in Heaven. I would still try my hardest to get there.

I am a Christian and I do not beleive that if you don't believe in God that you will undoubtedly go to hell. You are jugded by your actions.

If you spend your life thinking that you are greater then others or condeming others because of their believes than maybe you should go to hell...

but if you spend your life maybe not believing in GOD but still are a good person and try to be a good person and do what is right, etc. then I believe God will over look not believing in him because you chose to still be a good person.

Well.. it's all up to them to choose. Personally, I think that those who have never heard of God or Jesus at all won't be condemned, because how can they if they've never known anything about God? As for those who HAVE heard of God and refused to believe... isn't it their fault? God IS loving. He offers eternal life in heaven in exchange for your love and adoration.. He helps those in need when they ask with earnest hearts. I know it's hard for some to have faith, but it's not impossible either.
