It really depends on the situation. He could be telling the truth. Sometimes, things get a little too confusing for someone, to a point that they'd just rather let it go than put up with it. Other times, the guy just doesn't have an excuse that wouldn't seem unfair to you, or that wouldn't hurt you as much as the truth. If not any of those, then he's just lying to you to get you off his back.

I think you sort of answered that question yourself. You say, " the passion flew out the window." That is a good enough reason to get out of a relationship, however, your boyfriend should have told you that, instead of saying he did not know why. There is always an underlying reason as to why things end.

This is what I think...When we are young and single and dating, we tell each other we hate cheater and liars. That if you are in a relationship and at any point you think that you have found yourself attracted to another or that you might end up doing something with someone else then it is best to let your relationship go before you become the cheater or liar. In some cases this is true. Perhaps it's not because he is already seeing someone else. Perhaps it's because he might want to and in reality he would rather leave you then hurt you with cheating.

You just said the passion is gone. That's at least partly why he broke up with you. How is there anything to work out, if there is no passion?
But guys are lazy, and they usually don't do anthing unless there is someone else. So there is probably some other girl.

There's always a reason...if he's in a rut, something had to put him there. You may just want to give him his space and hopes he comes around and have a friend of his get some info for you.

Okay...are you being brutally honest with yourself? the passion does not just "one day fly out the window." Something is affecting the relationship and deep down, you know what it is.
It may be you or it may be him, or it may be that your relationship was based on false pretenses...whatever it is, don't delude yourself any longer. It may hurt, in the long run it is better to be honest with yourself. You already know the answer to your question..

Sounds like a 30 day relationship. Passion burns, and then burns out.
Yep, he's telling the truth. Sometimes you can't put your finger on it, its just not working.

He don't love you anymore. The fire was flushed. The passion for each other jump out of the window.

if i were going to bet on this, i'd bet he's found someone new
and its probably your fault for either a. not giving up the p u s s y often enough or for b. not acting whorish enough in bed
the only other reason that i can think of is you just arent attractive enough for him, or maybe you gained some weight
