There are a group of people known as the Flat Earth Society that believe the Earth is flat, but their beliefs have nothing to do with being or not being a Christian.

Did Bible Writers believe the earth was flat?
No—this false idea is not taught in Scripture!
In the Old Testament, Job 26:7 explains that the earth is suspended in space—the obvious comparison being with the spherical sun and moon. By 150 B.C., the Greek astronomer Eratosthenes had already measured the 25,000-mile circumference of the earth. The round shape of our planet was a conclusion easily drawn by watching ships disappear over the horizon and also by observing eclipse shadows, and we can assume that such information was well known to New Testament writers. Earth's spherical shape was, of course, also understood by Christopher Columbus. Some people may have thought the earth was flat, but certainly not the great explorers. Some Bible critics have claimed that Revelation 7:1 assumes a flat earth since the verse refers to angels standing at the "four corners" of the earth. Actually, the reference is to the cardinal directions: north, south, east, and west. Similar terminology is often used today when we speak of the sun's rising and setting, even though the earth, not the sun, is doing the moving. Bible writers used the "language of appearance," just as people always have. Without it, the intended message would be awkward at best and probably not understood clearly. When the Bible touches on scientific subjects, it is entirely accurate.

True Christians (and faithful ones even before Christ's' 'earthly visit') who were well-acquainted with Scripture, never did believe that the earth was flat. This is because they believed the God's Word, & the way Earth is described in Scripture at Job 26:10. Job 26 actually has a Lot more to say about earth than just commenting on it's shape. This article contains links to Job 26 on-line ...

Are there still heathens who bury the whole family alive when the patriarch dies?
Are there still Eskimos that leave their old out on the snow to die of exposure?
Do doctor's still let blood?
DO the bumps on our head tell me about your health and future?
By the way it was not just "Christians" it was everyone who thought the world was flat except for a few questioning scientists.
Are you foolish enough to believe you are somehow intelligent enough that if you lived in that time you would have known the world was round? Please.

I don't & I'm a Christian, but believe me, I've seen a diversity of beliefs & I'm sure there are some that do believe that way. But when I'm on the ocean I sure see a curve (not just the curve of the waves). & if the earth was flat, then I wouldn't fall into holes so much!!!! ;) Smile!! :)

Yea. The newly converted Christians in India who are not educated because of poverty are told by the church and they believe, as much as they take medicines as a miracle from God. That is how the missionaries in India spread the Gospel among the down trodden, exploiting the latter's poverty, innocence and ignorance.

People believe what they see.
Jesus Christ is the "I AM" or God Himself in a visible body.
"For in him dwelleth all the fullness of the Godhead bodily."
-- Colossians 2:9
"Have I been so long time with you, and yet hast thou not known me, Philip? he that hath seen me hath seen the Father; and how sayest thou then, Shew us the Father?"
-- John 14:9
"Jesus said unto them, Verily, verily, I say unto you Before Abraham was, I AM."
-- John 8:58

Strangely enough, there might be some still hanging around, and they will quote verses about the earth having four corners!
