stop spending. i mean it - apart from rent/mortgage and ultilies that is, though see if those can be spread monthly, and basic food, you dont need to!

6 weeks isnt long to save up- and as it will be late summer, prices may be higher than usual because of demand.. see if you can defer untl later in September maybe..?

carboots are good if you want to clear a load of stuff- be realistic with initial prices, and be willing to haggle/reduce if not selling too well.. the idea is to come home with empty car, and full wallet!
(take plenty of change, and carrier bags too!)

spending wise- only buy stuff thats really essential- no new clothes etc.

eat at home, and stick to budget brand food if need be (i survived on flavoured packet rice and fruit for a while..). make own sanwiches etc for lunch, and avoid those expensive coffee/donuts, on the way there/back!

good luck!

Pack your lunch in a brown bag and skip the fast food joints for lunch. A loaf of bread costs about a dollar, and a jar of peanut butter about a dollar, and a jar of jam about a dollar, so that's $3 per week, instead of $4 to $5 per day.

Other than that, just practice willpower and "delayed gratification." Do you want that T-shirt now, or would you rather buy a T-shirt from the resort you're at on holiday? Do you want to see that movie now, or would you rather buy some postcards on holiday? Do you need that sandwich now, or would you rather have a cool meal in an outdoor cafe on holiday?

Two biggest things.

Find a cheap supermarket near you. You would be amazed at the price savings. Bulk store are not always cheaper

Bring a lunch to work is huge. I just make some extra dinner and bring that.

By her speakme to them offers her extra choices on wether or now not she desires to preserve it and even adoption she has extra choices now than she is going to later. Her dad and mom will uncover out finally simply be certain it is not to overdue. And be a well pal and check out and support/consultant her to make the offerings she desires and now not what any person "desires" her to do in view that she am has to manage it in a while in lifestyles it doesn't matter what she makes a decision... And like the lady earlier than mentioned her dad and mom will develop to the proposal and sure there is a risk they will free it however the will not hurt her or the child. So inspire her to make her selections if you want to advantage her eventually.

Put all of your small change and small bills in a big container each day when you come home from school/work. You'll be surprised how much you will accumulate in a short time.
