Here is what I prepared 3 weeks ago and it went over BIG.. Barbequed RIBS... Unfortunately.. it takes about 3 hours but well worth it.
4 Pounds Pork Back ribs (approximately 2 full slabs)
2/3 Cup Yellow mustard
1/3 Cup Pepsi or Coke Cola (not diet)
1 Tbsp. Ground black pepper
1 Tbsp. Garlic salt
1 tsp. Ground ginger
1 tsp. Chili powder
1/2 Cup BarBeQue Man Bar-B-Q Sauce (any flavor)
Peel the membrane off the back of the ribs. If you can't do it ask your butcher to do it for you. Mix the wet and dry ingredients together. Rub the marinade onto the ribs. Cover or wrap with plastic wrap and refrigerate overnight.
Remove ribs from the fridge and let them come to room temperature, about 30 minutes. Prepare the grill for the indirect method of cooking. Put ribs on grid or in a rib rack.
Smoke-Roast at 250 degrees for three hours and fifteen minutes or until ribs are tender.
Mop on the Bar-B-Q Sauce 10-15 minutes prior to removing the ribs from the grill. Place on a hot platter. Serve and enjoy with more of our sauce on the side....

Turkey tips with a good marinade are great. Also, for a side to your meat try grilling some shrimp skewers. Just toss them with some olive oil and herbs, and put them on skewers with peppers, onions, mushrooms, or even a summer squash. Takes about 3-5 minutes per side.

Salmon Burgers. If there is a Costco near where you live, they have them there. (they aren't expensive). Anyway, they grill fairly quickly. Thaw them before hand and then you can serve on buns (or not) with tomatoes and either mayo, fish topping, or ranch salad dressing (my husband loves this). I usually have veggies with it, but any cool salad, cole slaw, 4-bean salad, etc. makes a good supper. You can also have some chips with this meal on the side.

Ingredients:
5 pounds Country Style Pork Ribs (family pack)Marinade/Sauce:
¼ cup brown sugar 1 TBSP. Spanish paprika 3 TBSPs. ancho chili powder 1 TBSP. Thai chili powder or Chipotle chili powder 1 ½ TBSPs. kosher salt 3 tsps. fine mustard powder 1 TBSP. ground cumin 1 TBSP. ground coriander 1 TBSP. ground garlic powder 1 TBSP. onion powder 1 tsp. freshly ground black pepper ½ tsp. ground hot peppers (optional) Zest of 2 limes Juice of 3 limes – about 1 cup lime juice ¼ cup Teriyaki sauce ¼ white wine vinegar ½ cup orange juiceCombine all the dry marinade ingredients in a large bowl. Then add lime zest, lime juice, teriyaki sauce, vinegar and orange juice. Whisk until all ingredients are well incorporated.
Line a large baking dish or heavy duty cookie sheet with a heavy duty aluminum foil.
Dip the “country style pork ribs” in the marinade, one piece at a time. Arrange the dipped rib on the pan. Pour the remaining marinade or sauce over the ribs. Cover the pan with another piece of heavy duty aluminum foil…folding the edges together to seal.
Preheat oven to 300°F and bake the ribs for 5 hours. Check to see if the ribs are done by piercing a piece with a fork. The ribs should be “fork tender” at this time. If not… scope the juices on top of each rib, seal the aluminum foil again and bake for another 40 - 60 minutes.
Remove the foil. Pour off and discard remaining sauces from the pan. Glaze each rib, on all sides, with the honey glaze. Turn the oven heat to 425°F and bake the ribs for 10 – 15 minutes or until the glaze caramelized, but not burned. Serve with potato salad (see recipe), green and vegetable salad. Serve 4 – 6 people.
Honey Glaze:
½ cup honey ½ cup hoisen sauce ¼ cup soy sauceIn a large bowl, whisk honey, hoisen sauce and soy sauce until combined. Brush each rib with honey glaze.

Shrimp Kabobs! Shrimp, onion, bell pepper, pineapple, and mushrooms. I like the Hawaiin Marinade best for those kabobs. Oh and grill some hot banana peppers...delicious!

country style ribs, steak, pork chops, veggies, portobello mushrooms, stone fruits, pineapple. Just about everything tastes good on the grill these days if it's done right.
