I saw it, and as a mother I cried when Mary remembered Jesus as a child and how she would take care of Him. It was a very beautiful movie, very raw and truthful. I hope more people see it and see what Christ endured, all for us, because He loved us. Here's a prophecy:
"Therefore the Lord Himself will give you a sign: Behold, a virgin will be with child and bear a son, and she will call His name Immanuel."
- Isaiah 7:14

Yes the movie is not as good as the 1974 Jesus Film from the Jesus Project though.
Jesus Christ is the "I AM" or God Himself in a visible body.
"For in him dwelleth all the fullness of the Godhead bodily."
-- Colossians 2:9
"Have I been so long time with you, and yet hast thou not known me, Philip? he that hath seen me hath seen the Father; and how sayest thou then, Shew us the Father?"
-- John 14:9
"Jesus said unto them, Verily, verily, I say unto you Before Abraham was, I AM."
-- John 8:58

I did see the movie and it was very moving.Even though I was already a Christian it reminded me what Jesus did for me.
The beating He took , the 39 lashes, truly impacted me. I know that it was much worse than portrayed even.
I know that many people felt they went to far in that, but I think how would Jesus had to have looked to carry every disease on his back for us? Bruised for my inquity? By His stripes I have been healed. Not even reconizable as human. What would He have looked like to save alll mankind and take on mine and their sin?
I continue to pray for the lost, I believe that there are only two kinds of people, lost and saved. be blessed in your walk.

I saw it.
Not only it was a violent pornographic commercial for Jesus, this crappy movie was historically wrong.
If you found this anti-Semite propaganda inspiring- good for you. I thought it was a total waste of my time, two boring hours that I will never get back.

And David, dear, I believe that you're a little too obsessed with your mission. It is a very nice thing, being devoted to your faith and beliefs, but please respect others' religion and perspective if you want to be respected by others. Do me a favor and stop pushing in my face your love and admiration to Jesus. Frankly: it makes me dislike your savior more and more.

I saw the movie and there were several passages that moved me a lot--Jesus hugging His cross, St. Veronica portrayed as a single mother, Mary's flashbacks to better times.
However I felt that it took too long for the beating and the walk to Calvary, and too little time while He was on the cross.

That movie made me cry also. I will pray for you. I believe that that movie was great and it spoke to a lot of people. I'm glad it came out so that many people and hear and see the true story of the Messiah.

David,
You are a christian. Stop this evil and deceptive form of missionizing. It degrades christianity.

on the side, the subject of Isaiah 53 is promised a "long life" and "seed" (i.e. physical children). clearly this isn't about jesus.

I did see the movie. I found it to be very moving. The reason I saw it was because there was so much media hype.

You are so full of it. You can believe whatever you want, but leave the Jewish people alone.
