Or do you mean "when will our troops be sent there?"
I think as long as we don't abandon the state of Israel, then they can hold their own. It takes money to defend yourself. If Israel has to spend more than they have, we may have to send some to tide them over.
Right now the two big problems in the world are overpopulation and finding better sources of energy.

There will be a ceasefire in Israel/Lebanon as soon as the International Community commits enough forces to make southern Lebanon secure and removes Hezbollah bases from civilian areas.
