I have not really tackled the book of Revelations yet because even in English it is hard to understand and even harder to assimilate being that it is so very cryptic in that the differences between our common use of language and descriptions of today, are not used in even the English translation in the KJV.
It was a book left pretty much as it was written in most languages and is just as hard to read in the sense of understanding what it referred to and alluded to in any and all of them.
It is a difficult book to consider and it takes years of research to even get through it in English. I'm still working on it and Greek will come next, then as in line with the language that was spoken and used at the time it was written which some believe was around the time of Nero's burning of Rome. in 65 A.D.
Most scholars however, believe that it was written later, more like A.D. 81 to 96 Shortly before the Roman destruction of Jerusalem in 86. So naturally it would have been in Latin or Hebrew depending... It is hard to say what apostle spoke what languages and who they were writing them to appeal to at that time. John was pretty much straped to a rock in exile waiting to die so... I do think the language would have been directed toward the power at that time which was obviously Roman.
therefore Latin... ( I think?)
Even though the first actual Latin bible wouldent be published until 597 It was a natural assumption that the Bible Sent to Augustine by Pope Gregory would have been written in Latin transcribed and translated by by Gregorian Monks.
Personally I believe that the language used at the time the books of the bible were first documented is very important. Not all people agree. Language differs slightly between the translations and even the smallest changes in words makes for some HUGE changes in meaning. It is a difficult endevor but worth it in the end. I have complicated this subject in my own head for years and it may be apparant here in this explination but I do believe that has some revelence. When interpreting a passage, I do tend to research what language was in power at the time it would have been documented even though for a long time after things actually happened, they were carried down by mostly word of mouth. I think if you don't do your very best to interpret and understand this book to your best ability, it is otherwise impossible to prove any of it. I have not rested in either notion because of this... It is a life long, ongoing project that borders often on obsession.

It wasn't written in ancient Greek. It was written in the more recent koine Greek, which (if I remember correctly) was a product of widespread Hellenism.
Regardless, anything so subtle that a simple, well-done translation already on the market can't get across is probably too subtle for the ancient author to have intended. The piece was just political satire, nothing more.

Your question does not make a lot of sence!
Revelations is translated into most other languages!
If you want to go back to the orginal text then get a bible with a concordance.
Its really not a hard book to understand, but I would first have you read Daniel.

I agree. additionally, Jesus totally meant to return with all the honour of his Kingdom interior the life of the human beings he became speaking to: Matthew sixteen:28 -- "I enable you be responsive to the fact, some who're status right here won't style death before they see the Son of guy coming in his kingdom." How extra sparkling can or no longer it is, that Jesus thought he might set up a KINGDOM? no longer return in "resurrected glory", or something, like what surpassed off in Acts, yet a KINGDOM standard in the international. That has no longer surpassed off. the human beings he promised this to are long ineffective. it variety of feels to be a failed prophecy, and it additionally looks that in spite of became written via John in Revelation has additionally come to bypass, approximately thirty cases already. you need to prepare those comparable verses to a dozen dictatorships in historic previous. there have been, to illustrate, "wars, famines, earthquakes" throughout the reign of King Henry the VIII, and he additionally disbanded the Church and proclaimed HIMSELF remarkable head instead -- basically like it says the Antichrist will do in 2 Thessalonians. In different words...properly, do I ought to spell it out? it is all fake. human beings basically save believing stuff that became made up 2 thousand years in the past, as though it is authentic, valid, and applies to in the present day. It does not.

Um, if I'm not mistaken, most English literal versions of the Bible are direct translations from the original Greek or from Latin translations of the origoinal Greek

The KJV translators already translated that pipe dream, or so they claimed. There is no need for another.

It would be easier for you if you use a Strong's concordance bible which gives you English, Hebrew, & Greek.
