My friend is really stressed out, so I'm planning to get her a massage gift certificate. I've never had a professional massage myself. Do you think an hour would be enough for a stress-relieving massage, or should I go for two hours?

Thanks in advance.

1 hour is plenty. I am a qualified in aromatherapy massage and a full body massage takes about 45-50 mins.

I get one every other week & I go for 90 minutes. It's great & it helps so much. An hour should be enough to do the job - and aren't you a really great friend to do that for her?!! You should get one as well - I can recommend massages very highly for stress reduction & therapeutic benefits!!

I'd go with an hour to begin with. If you want to give more, give 2 seperate massage certificates. then your friend can go again, later.

Yep thats enough, and don't forget to drink LOTS of water afterwards to get rid of all that lactic acid out of your body. This will help with the soreness the next day too.

IT DEPENDS ON HOW STRESSED YOU FEEL, AND HOW SORE YOU FEEL. IT IS YOUR YOUR BODY, LISTEN TO IT.
