No that's not true. Provided you prick the yolk and let them stand after cooking until the heat permeates all through there's no problem. You don't elaborate as to what type of sickness you get but raw eggs carry a very small chance of having salmonella. As long as they are cooked this will not be a problem.

i have cooked many eggs in the microwave and never got sick.just don't overcook them or they will turn to rubber
