First we need to establish the criteria for girl-guy relations, and I'm going to make a few assumptions:
you are a female
you are a teen
let's say there are 3 levels of people out there
1. hotties
2. middle of the road
3. bottom of the barrel
Level one can date level 2, but under no circumstance can a 1 drop to a 3. The ridicule, bashing, ousting, sheer shame of it prevents this from happening.
level 2 and 3 can co mingle.
Level 2 is a nice little spot, the pressure is off.
Ask yourself this, truthfully- what level are you? What level is he?
if you are at compatible levels we may proceed. you probably know this person well so you will have to make the final decision, but I do have some small bits of wisdom:
poke around a bit to see what the word is on what he likes, fat, skinny, athletic, etc.
hit a few group scenes where he is going to be and see if there is any eye contact or chemistry.
Find out his likes and pick one to mention when he's around.

Mr. Chivalry says, "Tell him. Women have more charisma and attraction to the other gender than men. Do you see the movies where a guy is trying with all his might to talk to a woman? With women, it's different, simply because men, by nature, are predators. Good luck to you."
Mr. Chivalry has spoken.

take a deep breathe and say I'm a little uncomfortable saying this...but I want you to know that I like you. See what his response is and take it from there! Guys are generally less verbal than girls. He may like you too. Maybe one of you has to make the next move to clarify where you want the relationship to go. It's usually taken as a compliment when someone hears."I like you"

what you need to do, is flirt with him [[a lot]]. than that might give him a hint that you like him, but dont tell him straight to his face, b/c guys dont like that, but if he doesnt get the hint of flirting, try, ummmmm asking him [[if your in school]] for answers that you know the answer to, but just to get a conversation started, ask him for the answer, and if he likes ou he will probably give it to you, but thats about all i can think of, oh! if you want get a friend to go up to him and ask him if he has a girlfriend. and he he says no, tell your friend to tell him that you like him, otherwise he might never ever know.. good luck with this! â¥â¥â¥

Work it into a conversation, so that you minimize chances of getting a negative response. Like after he says something to make you both laugh... say something like, "Wow, that's really funny... you have a good sense of humor... I like being around you / talking to you..." And let the conversation go from there. Either way (if he likes you or not) you're in good shape. Smooth, isn't it?

Just pluck up the courage and DO IT!!! There is no way to or not to do this...pick a time when you think works best, and be brave and simply tell him.
You wont know anything until you try, and after all, what have you got to loose?
GOod luck!!!!

Umm play it cool and just be relaxed. Ask him if he wants to go get something to eat or just hang out. Thats a pretty good hint. Its a snowball effect after that

Be very casual and easy going when you talk to him. Let him know that you want to be with him if he wants to be with you. Tell him you like him and you hope he likes you too.

Tell him but don't be too agressive, that could scare him away. A safer way would have a good friend mention it to him.
