An average rider can probably do around 15km/hr on a mountain bike.

Depends on whether the slopes are more up or down.
Since 100 km is 62 miles, if you average 10 miles an hour you'll be on your way for about 6 hours. At 12 mph it'll be 5 hours and at 15 mph you can do it in 4

Well, that does depend on how fit you are. You can go anywhere from 5 -15 MPH...(sorry I don't know the conversion to clicks) to about 40 or more on a good downhill.
If you keep a steady pace at about 10 -15 mph, & you are going 60 miles (sorry about the conversion again!) It will take you less than 6 hours.
Doing better on the downhills will shorten it, worse on the up will lengthen it, but will eventually even out.
Take lots of water with you...or stop to get some a lot! I know you are not in the US, based on your kilometer question, & we are having a big heat wave now! But, no mater where you are, water is a good idea!
Good luck!

You can expect it to take anywhere from 4 to 6 hours depending on your level of fitness and how often you ride your bike. If you bike regularly and are in good physical condition it will be closer to 4 hours, but it you haven't been riding much or aren't in good shape, it will take longer. Also, the suggestion that you take plenty of water and maybe a couple of energy bars is a really good idea. Take your time and enjoy the sceneary.

100km is 62 miles. At 15mph, with 5 minute breaks each hour, it will take you about 4 1/2 hours.

15mph if you don't ride alot is gonna be hard, but not impossible.

And one person earlier said something about 30mph....which is absurd. You won't do 30 on a mountain bike for 2 hours.

It really depends on your ability. Truth is, if you aren't a very physically fit person, you won't get anywhere near 100 km before you are unable to ride further.

in america that would be 60 miles, if you averaged 15 mph that would be four hours. If you did 30 that would be two hours.
