A man who is a gentleman, opens doors for you, dances well, is polite, gallant, intelligent and funny or a guy who only thinks of himself, treats you bad and is a womanizer?
Sadly women always seem to choose guy numer 2...why?

Actually ladies I am a gentleman, I am well brought up, honest, gallant and well spoken. I am also self employed and successful as well as having many interests, humour and intelligent.
My frustration is why women choose number 2. I have actually had women say...you are the type of guy I want to settle down with...but right now I want fun!
Maybe its the women I meet?

when a girl finds guy #1 she is uninterested...always finding an excuse as to the reason why she doesn't want him. #1 guys are not the easiest to find, because they usually have everything we're looking for but there will be one flaw. Then since they are so perfect we'll focus on that one flaw till it drives us crazy and we go for #2 and try to turn him into guy #1. (since he usually has that "flaw" from the #1 guy)

id choose number 1.. but to answer you question. SOME women would choose number 2 because they like to think that they can change a person from bad to good... they like the idea or the feeling that they were the one reponsibile for the change of an ****** to a new responsible, polite, gallant guy, which sadly... never happens...

Most women will say that they pick number 1. However, the average one sees number 2 as her number 1. There are few men out there that do not try to first convience us that they are the number 1 type of guy. It is only later that we find out that they are really number 2. Some women have a problem leaving by that time and so we see time after time women with the wrong men and men with the wrong women. This applies to men too:p:

Well I would (and DID) pick a number 1. That number 2 type is a real turn OFF. You can't carry on a conversation with them because they aren't talking to you, but "at" you. They can't even make eye contact because their eyes are always "roaming" around the room looking for more interesting targets.
Why? I'm not sure. I think it's a self-esteem problem. They feel if they can get a guy who "could have anybody he wants" it will make them feel better about themselves. It doesn't work that way though.

i would say that guy #1 is the kind of guy a girl dreams about ...when she wants to get married. but the guy #2 is just kind of exciting, different, adventurous...plus a lot of women have a complex of wanting to Change the bad boy into #1. =T... sucks huh? i would suggest to be proud of being guy #1. at least u know what u want! BE that awesome, good guy, with a good heart, treat women w/ respect. trust me, even if it takes longer, u WANT to find a woman who can see u for who u are, and Choose you, out of ALL the #2's out there!! why do u want a girl who chooses #2, over you?? =T..... there's no point. if a girl treats u badly or leaves u for something else, it's OK. don't let it get u down. find a woman who Wants to be w/ you, and Treats you with respect as well. someone who appreciates all ur good qualities... to find a woman like that will take a long time, why do u think it should be easier??? haha..... good things are worth the wait. be a man, and fight for what u want. but don't give up ur good and respectful qualities.
ps...here's some advice. being sweet and nice and polite is AWESOME..but what u also want to be is firm and able to make good decisions, and go for what u want. if u come off as wishy washy, or too flexible, easy to run over, girls won't like that. don't dominate ur woman, but be able to take charge. it's a fine line, but i think that's what every woman wants. that's why they'll go for #2's, cuz at least those guys act like they know what they're doing... #1's tend to be so overly nice they look like they have no backbone.

I would pick #1, but I don't think it is some kind of conscience choice about picking someone who is the #2 type. I say that only, because they tend to start out like #1, and eventually, or inevitably, seem to transform into that number 2 monster, leaving some women unsure how to get out of it. Sometimes even scared to leave.

Because many women have been mistreated by men, that is what they are used to. I would difinitely choose guy #1. It is also a part of growing up and accepting that I deserve better. Also, women crave "excitement" that comes with the instability that men #2 come with. I am wiser and can't play games anymore.

There is a child in every woman that wishes to be dominated over.Thats why many choose number 2.But if you want a woman who is sane and secure in herself find one that likes the first man all the time and the second only sometimes in the bedroom.Good luck God bless:O)
