ladies when it comes to a boyfriend you want a 'bad boy' type but you choose a 'good guy' for marriage? Why?

this is prob because we want adventure while we are young but when we get married we wanna no that we can trust and have respect from the guy we will B spending the rest of our lives with... or at least thats that reason 4 me

Women know bad boys are temporary b/c they will eventually get bored with us and won't stick around forever. Good guy are loyal and are worthy of the responsibilities marriage brings. Women are attracted to and crave the wild masculine capibilities of a strong man because in our child bearing years we unconciously choose those who will protect us and our young against physical harm. Hence the reason why you men "puff up your chest" to impress a lady . While in a marriage, women still want someone who can protect us, we also want someone who will attend to our emotional needs as well. This is more apparent in the good guy quality and make for a better husband and father figure.

I think some women are attraced to the "bad boy" way of life (fun, adventure, etc.). Then they try to change him to be responsible and good and it doesn't work. Maybe on some level they think that they can save him, but retain his funloving nature. That is when they wake up and realize that what will truly make them happy is a loving, responsible man. That is who they want to settle down with to have a family. Bad boys are about youth and having fun. Good guys are for the long-term and when women decide they are going to be adults.

It is the same way for some guys. They like to date the slutty girls, but then realize they want the virginal bride and wife.

When women are dating they think of it as trying different things. We go for bad boys cause we figure they would be more fun than good guys. The adventure is a rush but when we want to settle down, we want someone who thinks more of family and our future instead of fun and games. I found that some women even marry the bad boys because that is what they want in a companion but kids are not usually involved.

My soon to be husband was a bad boy hes much calmer now. We have known each other 15 years, we have been through a lot separate and together. I have to agree with everyone else its a rush we get with bad boys. Then when you hit that time in your life where you are just tired of the same old drama its time to settle down.

When a woman seriously considers a man for marriage she looks at a man that will be a good father figure. He can't be a good father figure if he is in jail, etc. She wants a man whom she can be proud of and is willng to brag to her friends about him. He will need to be able to support her if need be, too.

When I was single. I used to like the brainy bad boys. Hard to find but they are out there...the guy who was on the deans list but partyed hard and had a run in with the cops a time or two. I hated a super nice guy that told you everything you wanted to hear and was always available. YUK! You gotta give a girl a challenge. If you give her everything she wants she gets bored.

because when your younger you really arent serious and you wanna test each guys but some girls really like bad boys because there parents will disagree with them and they do it out of spite but they know when they get married they have to find a good guy to make the family happy
