The one who is 23 has a lot to learn and even if you teach him, he might still dump you for a younger model.
The one who's 40 has probably learned a lot already but may be wary of another relationship - assuming he has already had at least one previously. He might also dump you for a younger model but for now is likely to be the right one for you.
I guess the final choice is the one YOU feel best with - which one says the right things, does the right things, lets you have some freedom etc.
You don't say if you've been married or in a long-term relationship before but assuming you have, you will know whether you just want some fun - in which case go for the 23 y.o - or some stability - so choose the 40 y.o.
Your call, I'm afraid.

The Younger One Might Be More Fun Right Now, But You Have To Think Ahead. The Older Guy Might have More To Give In A relationship And He Is Defiantly More Experienced. Are You Just Looking For Fun Or something More.

I am 34 and my man is 58 and things are great. We like to do alot of the same thing. I went older because one I was more then tired of the games that alot (not all) guys that were in their mid 30s and younger. I'm passed the bar life and wanted a real man. I did get to know him first. It has to come down to what you want out of the relationship. Talk to both first. I do know some older guys who play games too. You don't have to choose today. Talk to both and just be very up front. What made me want to be with my man was I just couldn't stop thinking about him and that he was will to spend time with me the way I wanted to at first, more like friends. He proved to me that he was going to be the understanding guy that I needed.

Go for the 23 year old. He's too young to have soured towards women, can last longer in the sack w/o having to take a pill, & best of all he's trainable!!!! Besides most 40 year old men are still single for a good reason........something to think about

Before you choose read this:
An old bull and a young bull were standing on top of a hill looking down at a large herd of cows. The young bull shouted lets run down there and breed with one of them. The old bull replied no son, lets walk down there and breed them all.
Moral - As an old guy its kind of offensive that people stereotype us. Wisdom, experience and a willingness to work overtime might make you see that older is better. We don't waste energy we use it wisely.

I think you should pick the 40 year old.cause there's only 6 year's seperating you 2.unlike the 12 years that are seperating you and the 23 year old.so i say go out with the 40 year old. good luck

Go with the 40 year old. He's more that likely to be more financially stable, more mature and more settled, and he's still young enough bang you all night long.
